The most beautiful smell of honey and peaches invading all of my senses. Gripping me in every way Mate! Mate! Get mate! I felt my eyes shifting darker, I could smell her, and when I looked further up the staircase I could see her. My little mate. Blossom's POV "Come on we'll be late!" Quinn practically screamed at me "Why do you even care? You already have a mate... what are you getting out of tonight?" I asked as I pinned my hair up in the mirror. She was sat on the bed, putting her blue heels on, her white dress flowing over the edge of the covers.

Glowing. Elias blinked as they stepped into a hidden cavern bathed in moonlight. A massive waterfall spilled over smooth rock into a crystal-clear pool, butterflies glowing with faint iridescence flitting between blooming flowers. Moss blanketed the walls like velvet, and the air shimmered with something… magical. Elias’s breath caught in his throat. “Lucian…” His voice was barely a whisper. “This is…” “Beautiful,” Lucian said softly. “I know.” Elias turned to him. “Who made this?”

The glow responds to every small motion, alive to the disturbance. She is hooked, craving more of the ethereal glow, more of this midnight magic. She shifts on the jagged rock, her weight tilting just a fraction too far. In a heartbeat, her bare foot finds a patch of slick, treacherous moss, and the world suddenly tilts— Elias's arm catches her waist before she's fully fallen, but the momentum is already committed, and they go into the pool together. The water explodes with light on impact. Every agitated molecule fires blue, and they surface in the middle of it—surrounded, saturated, the glow catching on her wet lashes, on the water running down his jaw.

“Anyway, fuck it we are all back together. Tell me for the love of god there is a bonfire party tonight? Can we get drunk and celebrate the end of the worst pieces of shit in existence!” “Hell yes!” came a voice as Glenn and Ariel burst into the room. Glenn wore the proudest, happiest smile as he walked hand in hand with the bashful Ariel. Glenn seemed to have more than enough bravado for the two at least. Ariel, although shy, was stunningly beautiful. Almost elfen with her delicately pale features, glassy blue eyes and white hair. She wore a long baby pink maxi dress, its silken material only adding to her ethereal appearance. “It’s very hot here!” she said, fanning herself.

The morning sky over Aetherborn shimmered like spilled ink, streaked with pale light from the twin moons. A soft breeze carried laughter, bells, and the scent of floating pastries from the Aethergrounds far below. High above it all, a steady and slow cloud glided through the air. Caleb stood at its helm, his boots planted firmly on the mist, his hands glowing faintly as he guided the flow. Beside him, Seraphine clutched a large, glowing box, its surface pulsing faintly with enchantments meant to keep everything fresh and warm.

The reflection catches in the glass, catches with the rain, with the rain, with the storm. I see my own eyes, and the intensity of the glow surprises me. The intensity of the glow terrifies me. Turning slowly, she seems to glide as her body rotates to face me. Blinking, she begins to glow, first her eyes, and then her skin, a soft golden starlight, like the sun shining through clouds. As I watch the light glows brighter, humming with energy. I close my eyes as power washes over me, visible even through my eyelids.

This majestic setting only added to the surreal nature of my situation. The number of stares I received in the mansion—from both those present when the incident occurred and those returning from their journeys to connect with their mates—was overwhelming. The sensation was surreal; it felt as if I were walking in a dream, my skin shimmering with an ethereal light that seemed to have a life of its own. Each step I took felt weightless, as if the glow had somehow altered the very fabric of my being. The glow cast a soft, eerie luminescence on the marble floors and ornate woodwork, creating an almost otherworldly atmosphere.

He stood and approached me with concern. "Something wrong? Are you feeling okay? "I got you a gift. "Here, let me put it on you."
