By the time Richard arrived, the funeral was almost over. Everyone who had come to say goodbye was gone. Only I remained. I wanted a little more time with Chloe. She'd always been clingy. Connections.” I looked back at the photograph. “Someone like Viktor Sokolov.” Barney slowly nodded. “It explains why Ghost disappeared inside Draven’s palace.” “It also explains why nobody has been able to identify him.” I said matter of factly. The more I looked at the picture… The more convinced I became. I finally pushed my chair back from the desk. “I want everything.”

Chaos darted towards the bat, flying towards it directly, surprising the bat! "Let's see… can you vacuum my soul?" he asked, as Chaos' soul suddenly surged from his body like a blazing black flame, shaping themselves as giant chaotic claws that began to slash and attack the giant, ten-meter-tall bat! The bat tried to fight back by firing shadow bullets, but Chaos attacks were immensely strong, its Vacuum was not able to vacuum souls for some reason, and it ended ultimately being sliced into pieces! The entire pile of sliced pieces of the bat fell over the ground, making quite the bloody scene.

“The question is if it really matters.” I joined Brett’s surprise at her words. She smiled. “There’s a lot of debate around what ghosts actually are. I like to stay home, reading, forgetting the world exists, and dealing with the pain of having lost everything that mattered to me. “Hey man,” Ghost says as soon as I leave my car and walk to the door, handing the keys to the valet. “Careful with it,” I say, and he nods. Ghost is standing next to the bouncer. I nod at him and the bouncer as he moves the rope, allowing us in without even asking for identification. Not that I would need to show it; I look exactly the same as his boss just a little bulkier, more handsome.

“Damn it, Boss.... But Adrian was already moving. He stepped out quietly, his gun raised. The moment the figure reached for his weapon, Adrian fired. The bullet struck his shoulder, making him stumble with a sharp grunt. The man turned, and under the dim factory lights, Adrian finally saw his face. Ghost. He recognized the face through the picture leo found. Blood spread across his jacket, but he was still standing. He lifted his gun, a smirk tugging at his lips. ZEPHYR’S POV “Yes, there are two of our ghosts who are not with us now.” “Do they have names?” I asked him. “N….” He paused, rethinking his reply again. Then he said. “We go by one name, Ghost. Any other name aside this, I am unaware of it. I know it seems undutiful for me to not have this simple information but sometimes our ghosts tend to break out of character and hence get themselves into scenarios that end up leaving them with souvenirs like names, tattoos, tags.”

I had no choice, so I dug through every gift Zoe had ever given me, but I found nothing. Just when I was about to give up, I shook a pillow, and a tiny paper figure floated out. Its face was drawn to resemble Lucas, and his birth details were written on the back! The fortune teller exclaimed, “That’s it! The lock and the paper figure work together, and since you've touched the lock, the effect on you is stronger. Luckily, you found it early.” I broke out in a cold sweat.
