Batman Joker Quotes Heath Ledger Novels & Stories

I was halfway down the stairs when I heard Atlas's voice…so thick with rage that my knees buckled; “GOD HELP ME, LEDGER, I WILL KILL YOU WHERE YOU STAND!” I clutched the railings, mind reeling. Did he just… No…it must have been a joke…or a comment made in the heat of the moment. “...Kane, LISTEN TO ME, I know you're mad at me…” Ledger's voice carried an urgency that hinged on desperation, “... this is really important.” I ghosted down the last flight of stairs—and stopped when I saw them.

Time passed quickly when you were occupied. “You’re ridiculous! How can you say Superman is better than Batman?! I give up on you.” – Jordan. 10:35pm. “I don’t really? I don’t think I could if I tried, not anymore, but you’re wrong. Just saying.” – Jordan. 11:15pm. He smiled honestly before sending a text back and calling it a night. “The feeling’s mutual.” Derrick didn’t confirm what feeling he was mutual about to Jordan’ frustration when he text him twice demanding to know which one.

His mouth twitches, and amusement flickers across his face as he runs a hand through his hair lazily. “Do I look like the staff?” he asks, voice heavy with arrogance. I hesitate, my heart still pounding in my chest. “Then who are you?” He tilts his head, his smirk widening, and then drops his voice into that familiar rasp from every childhood movie. “I’m Batman.”

Xander offered him a sarcastic smile and settled back on the bench. Ledger sneered, “I can’t wait, bunkmate.” Xander couldn’t help the boisterous laugh that escaped him and sat up suddenly, “You haven’t figured it out, have you?” Xander leered, taking far too much enjoyment in the flicker of doubt that appeared on Ledger’s face. “What?” Joseph Ledger stood straighter, and his eyes narrowed. Xander smiled wickedly and batted his eyelashes, “You’re nothing but a wannabe criminal.”

“Didn’t know you were the old lady kind, Hamill.” “Let her go.” Jax’s husky voice was even and measured, maybe too much so. “Right the fuck now.” “And if I don’t?” “You really want to find out?” “That sounds like a threat.” Joker reached into his back pocket, and now silver glinted in his hand. “I feel the need to protect myself, all of a sudden.”

I said to everyone louder than I should, but I hated being in the dark. Joker appears like he is about to erupt. He slams his hands on the table and points at Letha. “Shut your fucking mouth. This is Queen’s business, and she runs the point.” I thought Letha would look pissed, but she nodded her head. She looked like she was trying to suck the tears back up inside. Her mouth pinched tight, and her almost black eyes appeared much larger.

William laughed “Thanks dad, you're the best” Zion returned from chit-chatting with his teacher in the superman costume “Uncle Dunlop, I must say your batman outfit is cool even though I'm not really a big fan of batman” “I'll take that as a compliment. Thank you” “Wow, wow, wow. Everyone's so focused on him that no one even cares or like my outfit” I said kind of hurt They finally turned attention to me “Your outfit is amazing mom” Zion said first “You and dad compliment each other. I mean there's a bit of rivalry between batman and Catwoman but they loved each other” William noted

"To knocking that girl in the face with a baseball bat...Girl, your like a Harley Quinn!" I swallowed down what was in the shot glass, my throat feeling like it was on fire. " Yeah, and your son is the Joker."

“C’mere, Prez, and I mean double-time.” Stomping footsteps approached, and then Nails Paxton was in the doorway of Ace’s bedroom, looking ten kinds of seriously-pissed. Ever since that anonymous phone call had come in from someone claiming that Ace Cuddy had killed Kirk, Warren ‘Derby’ Kane (Joker’s own cousin), and Shay Alcott, it had been one hell of a day, and Joker knew that what he had to show Nails was only going to make for a much worse night.

His expression was stern and unyielding as he opened the door, his imposing presence dominating the room. Mrs. Quintana froze in place. "Mr. Joker... why are you here?" Mr. Joker was the right-hand man of the boss’s son. Now he was here in person, which explained why someone had dared to fire a gun in this area. Mr. Joker stopped in front of Nina and said coldly, "This person is not to be harmed." Mrs. Quintana hesitated, stunned by the realization that Nina's claims were true. Seeing her hesitation, Joker's eyes flashed with anger. "Didn't you hear what I said?"
