Bane roared, "You're looking for death!" He thought there was no way a kid like Andrew would dare to go head-to-head with him. A deep, muffled boom echoed as Bane's palm collided—not with flesh—but with something that felt like the mouth of an erupting volcano. Meanwhile, a violent surge of energy shot up from Andrew's body, flooding through Bane's limbs and meridians in an instant.

His eyes were focused, almost predatory, as he took in the scene. The man holding me hesitated, his grip loosening just enough. Matthew stepped forward, his body coiled and ready, and in one swift motion, he pulled out a small black baton from behind his pants. He clicked on a button, and it suddenly stretched into a thick metal rod. His fist tightened around it and swung at my first attacker; it collided with his jaw, sending him reeling. I stumbled back as Matthew took on the other men with swift, calculated movements. He moved like a fighter—each swing controlled, each kick aimed to do maximum damage.
