He came down to the ocean of demons like a tornado destroying a city. Mara smiled proudly when Shane decided to show up in the battlefield and show off his skills. Lara generated strong poison and poured it on her scythe. She started dancing in the battlefield, melting some demons down due to the intense poison she made. In response, I used my sword to sever its right leg, causing it to fall in pain.

I answered. "Women?" She asked in a low tone. "Yes, so it's kind of embarrassing," I answered. "We are demons." She pointed out. "I know and that still doesn't change that I am a male, and you are a female," I answered. "Demons all bathe in the same river which is close to the forest, be it female or male, and they are allowed to make babies there because the water grants them fertility," Dinel said coldly when she grabbed a light blue robe.

Ares’ voice, dripping with scorn, answered from the sky: “Oh, Selene. You amuse me. Why don’t you give me a show first?” Selene’s heart skipped a beat as the ground beneath their feet began to shudder and crack. With a deafening roar, the earth split open, and from the depths emerged a horde of demons, their eyes burning with a fiery hatred. The gods sprang into action, brandishing their weapons and standing shoulder to shoulder as they prepared for battle. “These demons won’t stop us!” Aphrodite shouted, her sword glinting in the red sky. “We’ll fight our way to the top!”

I stepped into the middle of the felled trees and focused on the targets ahead of me. “Misty Meteor!” I whispered angrily. A comet-like light hit all three demons making them writhe in pain. “Pure Light Explosion!” I focused all my rage into the explosion, making sure that anything demonic would be banished from the world. The forest fell silent and was completely dark. You could hear the leaves rustle in the breeze but the demons were gone. I exhaled slowly while I analyzed the feelings the fight left me with. I may have won that fight but it was certainly a close call that I don't care to repeat.

These demons are gone—spiritless. They circle. The one to my left opens his mouth. A red-orange glow builds in his chest. Fire. I duck as the one to my right lunges. My elbow connects with his eye. I grab his hair and swing him hard, slamming him into the fire-breather. No time to recover. The third tackles me to the ground. Panic explodes behind my eyes. Black spots creep into my vision. Fuck. He grabs a rock and slams it into my jaw. Pain detonates. My head spins. Before he can strike again, I thrust my hips up and drive my elbow into his face, knocking him off me.

He was about to turn back to Dakota when two huge male lions leapt into the space Bernard and I had left, their roars sending the demons running for cover in fear. The noise is horrendous, roars, screams of pain, and the shouts of the dead and dying. There are demons everywhere, some dead, others dying, and the floor is slick with their blood, but to my dismay, it is not only the demons who are such severe hits. Several soldiers are being overrun by the smaller demons, and I cannot see who they belong to. Some of them are Bernards, others are Romulus and Remus' guys, and to my horror, some of my own men go down too. Enraged, I leap to my paws and renew my attack, closely followed by Bernard.
