'Letter to self' I picked up the envelope and opened it carefully unable to recall when I wrote this. __________ Dear Adrian If you're reading this its probably a while since you last cut yourself or struggled with depression. You're probably reading this because you're a lost soul and don't know what's next, kinda like when you wrote this. You wrote this not to make your future self smile a little but to remind yourself that you're tough, you are a savage and anyone who messes with you will never win. The pain of the past may come back once in a while but you gotta remember why you left it behind.

Slowly, she starts to feel more grounded in the present moment. As Samantha starts to feel calmer, she realizes that her fears about the future are just that: fears. They may or may not come true, but she can't control the future. All she can control is the present moment. She reminds herself that she can't predict what will happen tomorrow, but she can choose how to live today. She knows that she can't guarantee a perfect future for her family, but she can enjoy the present moment with them.

He ushered me out of his chambers and we made our way back to where everyone else was. Tomorrow was going to be a big day. Tomorrow, I am going to unlock a new phase of my life. From tomorrow on, I will not remain a clueless being, wandering through the roads, thinking about what to do next. From tomorrow on, I will know what I want and I will know what to do exactly to accomplish that. Tomorrow, I was going to start something to make my name written in the pages of history, to make my place among the stars above, to make my name be remembered for eternity, even after I die.
