Beasts Among Men Novels & Stories

Clearing his throat and fixing his imaginary necktie, he explained things to his friend. “Beastmen are a race of warriors, and though we have been forced into unity because of the very real threat of the Undead, we still have fractured relationships here and there. Unfortunately, any infighting would weaken the clans, and the Undead would undoubtedly use this chance to wipe us out. After all, the fact that they are asleep doesn’t mean they are dead, and a slumbering lion is much more dangerous than one that is wide awake.”

The man ignored the warning growls of the beasts within the forest, and instead of moving away from the forest – a task that would have been all too simple considering that he was only standing on the outskirts of it – he crossed the boundary and entered it. Once he did several threatening auras locked on to him. Like a tsunami of power beasts of varying sizes and strengths rushed towards the man. There were large cats, dog-like creatures, and even Winged Serpents of varying sizes in this great assembly of beasts. The eyes of every single beast reflected deep hunger and desire – the desire to possess the core of the man walking towards his supposed doom. Each beast was as large as a small hi

insisted Claire, “we can fight them your way. If they were coming after you, you’d think of something. Just pretend it’s you out there and save yourself. That’s what you’re good at.” You had to hand it to Claire, she may not have have been able do magic, but she could cast shame on you like a master-level sorcerer. I had actually thought of a possible way to deal with the lizardmen, even before Evil Edna had tried to bewitch me with her Legendary Glare of Guilt. The Book of Beasts had quite a large section on lizardmen. They were pack animals, always travelling in groups of at least five or six, and only attacking if they outnumbered their opponent. They were basically cowards. Or sensible,

Reaching back to the wisdom of the ancients, to a time before religion or society…to a time when man was more beast than sentient being…the elders drew upon primeval magic. Five men were chosen. They thought they were chosen to fight. They thought the elders were only blessing them before the battle. They thought wrong. I’d always been taught the elders did what was best for the village as a whole; still, I couldn’t help but feel sympathy for the men. Did they know what was happening to them as the elders circled them, chanting in a strange language? Did it cause them pain when they transitioned from man to beast? Did some spark of their souls remain, or was it extinguished?

Therefore, the current urgent task was to seek peace with the beasts. After all, the conflict between beasts and humans was an internal conflict within the continent. If daemons succeeded in their invasion, once humans were exterminated, it would be the beasts' turn next. The principle of interdependence should be understood by the beast leaders. Furthermore, the current beast swarm was an internal conflict among the beasts rather than a grudge against humans. It was merely a process of following natural laws.

“It’s a pleasure to see not just two great Humanes but four of them; one of each is enough to fully annihilate a thousands ordinary beast beings. All at once. I’m honored.“ Hailed a bald dark skinned male with the letter ‘H’ tattooed on his lower chin looking more like a traditional lower Ichin tattoo. Dressed in a long, flowing white robe with long sleeves decorated with golden embroidery around his neck-line down to his chest and both the tips of his sleeves while holding a cap closer to his chest area. ‘A thousand beast’ is the way beings outside the Beast kingdom do gauge each and everyone’s potential or know how strong they are in respect to Beasts elevated population. And to my idea, i

Verra had a bright smile on her face as she skipped towards the house. In the world of Semeria, there are countless races of which humans are the majority. There are still other races in smaller numbers living throughout the continent, with some having provinces all to themselves and others joining hands to create one. The strongest non-human race was the Beastmen, which are energy beasts that got so powerful that they gained human-level intelligence and had built their own civilization. Beastmen stick to themselves, they mainly live in the three Beastman provinces which are White Tiger Province, Lion Mountain province, and Holy Beastman Province. Though there are a few that venture out and

Yet, they were deep into a dire enemy territory, danger all around them, perhaps even beneath their very feet, and the best he could do was leave the work to his officers and get so drunk he couldn’t even stand up properly. The beastmen, or whatever they were, terrified him beyond all reason. Any human foe he could meet on equal terms and there was honor to be found in the spilling of blood. These creatures were not human, though. They were stronger, faster, and cunning. Monsters stepped forth from the worst of nightmares to walk the earth. They shouldn’t—couldn’t—be real, but they were, both more and less than man. He could never show this fear to anyone.

" Julius slumped back into his chair. Floiria was a land where only the strongest survived. Hence, many beastmen preferred living with humans, who prohibited mindless slaughter. If beastmen wanted to enter a human kingdom, they needed to register their information and obtain the authorities' approval. It wasn't an easy process. If they were sent back to Floiria, it would be almost impossible for them to return.

He growled. “Ah, you're mistaken. It's the other way round, it's you who has been rambling. Let's get this over with, shall we? Your disgusting smell is making me lose brain cells.” I sighed. “Lucian, what the hell are you doing? You're making him more riled up, he might hurt the boys!” Beom whispered in my ear, panicking. “Shh. Don't be a mosquito.” Beastmen were known for their awful smell, and they always get tense and angry if someone mentions it. They sometimes kill or harm those who make fun of them. Knowing how powerful they were, people knew better to keep their thoughts.
