"The world is stale. The stories are all the same. I want to see what happens when the protagonist decides to be the villain." I looked at his outstretched hand. He was offering me a deal. If I took it, I would get everything I wanted. I could hunt the Publisher. I could burn the factory. I could even get Bryan back. But I would be working for the very thing that trapped us in the first place. I thought about all the versions of myself I had already seen.
