Novel & Cerita Bed Time Story For Adults

This was the first time he’d shared a bed with both his Mummy and Daddy, and he couldn’t contain his happiness. "Daddy," he said. "Yes, son?" "Can you tell me a bedtime story? Mummy always does it, but now that you’re staying, you should tell me one." Liam held my hand and Scott’s hand too, as if he wanted the three of us to stay connected forever. "I’m not very good at bedtime stories, but I’ll give it a try," Scott replied. Scott began telling Liam a bedtime story until he fell asleep. I tucked him in with the duvet and turned to the other side of the bed, trying to sleep. But I couldn’t, no matter how hard I tried.

Andrew's eyes remained fixed on the documents in front of him as he circled and marked them with a pen. "Daddy, we can't sleep," June said softly. "Daddy, Daddy, can you tell us a bedtime story?" Andrew replied nonchalantly, "No." "Why?" The two children walked over to Andrew and looked up at him. "Mommy always tells us bedtime stories. We can't sleep without bedtime stories." "Just close your eyes and you'll fall asleep," Andrew said. June reached out and tugged at Andrew's clothes. "We tried, but we couldn't sleep."

she responded. “Adults can listen to bedtime stories too,” “You should take sleeping drugs if you find it difficult to sleep and maybe if you consume less caffeine you’ll sleep better,” she says. “Maybe. Maybe not,” I muttered. Only if she knows why I find it hard to sleep well sometimes. We settled into the living, and almost immediately I sat down and I saw Ryan’s call. “Good morning boss,” he greeted, “Good morning Ryan,” I said, “Sir. Marlo is here,” he said,

I whispered with a loving smile, “Which story would you like tonight?” Mike’s face lit up with excitement, his tiny hands reaching for his favorite book. “The one about the brave little wolf, Mumma!” I chuckled as I opened the book, a captivating story about a young wolf’s rand adventure. Mike listened with rapt attention, his eager eyes fixed on the pages as I spun the tale of bravery and exploration. By the time I reached the part where the little wolf found solace under the silvery glow of the moon, my son was already fast asleep.

He sits on the edge of the bed. “Tell me a story,” I murmur. “It’ll help me sleep faster.” He looks away. “I’m not good with stories… but I'll try” He exhales, looking up at the ceiling. “Years ago,” there's a long pause. “Years ago, a family of three lived happily together.” His eyes meet mine again, and I try to hold eye contact. But my eyelids are already fluttering, and I can't say a word. “Until the mother and her son discovered something,” he continues. “Something that got her…” He doesn't look at me anymore. “The mother discoverered…” His voice fades into a low muffled sound. Darkness swallows me whole.

he said softly. He sat on the edge of the bed, his voice low and steady as he began. The story wasn’t anything complicated. Just something simple. Something about a wolf who got lost and found his way back home. But the way he told it— The way the kids listened— It did something to the room. Something I wasn’t ready to name. By the time he finished, all three of them were asleep. Peacefully. Together. I stood there for a moment, watching them. Then turned.

He said, and knowing how stubborn he is, I didn't argue. "Would you like to hear a bedtime story?" He said and I was surprised by that kind of offer. The last time I heard a bedtime story was from my mom when I was just a kid. "Maybe you can read textbooks, they are known as the best sleeping pills," I suggested whatever came to my mind. His deep throaty laugh garnered my attention, making my cheeks warm up in embarrassment. "So daring of you to say that to your teacher," He mused. I looked at my teacher beaming, and I didn't know why I was so bold tonight, but at the moment, being with him, I just wanted to be reckless.

She said as she yawned, “Betsy said that you were going somewhere safe to start a family!” “Oh…um, kind of, yes.” “Could you tell me a bedtime story?” the girl said as she finally gave up the pointless fight and let her self drift to slumber. “Goodnight,” Trie said, her voice shaky and her eyes teary. “Oh, what a mess.”

"You don't remember me. And I'm too old for them, but... Can you tell me a bedtime story? About anything." His daddy didn't laugh, ridicule him or hang up. There was a strange sound from the other end of the line before the man spoke quietly. "... course I'll tell you a bedtime story. Anytime." (If he wasn't so young and overwhelmed, he would've noticed how much of a struggle each word as.) "... upon a time, there was a brave pilot, who crash-landed in the desert and met a strange but kind boy. ... boy came from a planet far away ..." (1)

she suddenly said, taking me by surprise. "You do" She nodded and I almost laughed at how serious she looked right now. One moment she was crying like she would break down, and the next, she was acting so tough. I chuckled and touched her nose "you will" She yawned lazily "You should sleep now," I said holding her closer "How about you read me a bedtime story" "Don't you think you are too old for that" "No one is ever too old for a bedtime story," she said, " how about you read this book to me?" She took a book from the bedside table, and I noticed it was the book that Cyrus had given when she had started working at the company.
