I shook off her hand and stood firm. Mom opened her mouth to scold me, but Uncle Jackson's sarcastic voice came from behind her. "Grace, it looks like your daughter's really got some guts now. She doesn't even listen to you anymore. What a pathetic life you're living." Hearing this, Mom's face turned red. She was clearly displeased that I embarrassed her in front of Uncle Jackson's family. She raised her voice and threatened, "Go and get the property deed right now!" I felt deeply resentful when I saw how she only cared about outsiders instead of me. "I don't have the deed. The apartment has already been sold. I'm just living here as a tenant now."

“Ah, that? Clay handles that for me, he briefs me with the details, I step in when I have to.” “I am a lawyer, but he makes me do all kinds of stuff.” Clay whines, Abed rolls his eyes as the elevator comes to a stop. There is another door but we ignore it totally, marching past it, “Where does that lead to?” “The sex rooms. It has all sorts of things in there, once before you could enter without authorization, I stumbled into it and my jaw dropped, a lot of different things goes on behind that door.” Joanne shivered. After seeing the room Clay and her uses, I am glad to find out somethings can still shock her. Why was I curious to see what went on behind those doors?

It mirrored the man himself. The study was at the end of the hall, tucked behind double oak doors with polished brass handles. I’d seen him disappear behind them more than once, sometimes for hours. No assistants. No interruptions. Whatever he was guarding, it was in there. I glanced over my shoulder. No movement. No cameras that I could spot. My fingers closed around the handle and turned. Unlocked.

By the time he had gotten to the door, it was locked, and no matter how many times he turned the handle, it did not open up. "Evangeline, let me in," he said, pounding on the door with his fist. "Go away," she said. He could tell from the sound that was inside the room that she was pacing around loudly. "Come on, please," he said, and the room fell silent; the door opened, and she was standing there. She had gotten off her clothes and was not standing there in her underwear. "You are so annoying." "I know but please tell me what I have done that is so wrong."

Of course. Chris turned to me. “He’s inside,” he said calmly, offering no more explanation. I swallowed hard and nodded, my fingers tightening around the picture frame in my arms. He opened the doors with a gentle push, revealing a massive room. As I stepped in, the heavy door slammed shut behind me with a sharp thud and an audible click. I frowned and turned around slowly, my heart thumping. Why would he lock the door? I turned back toward the room, toward him and that’s when I saw why.

Each room has beds inside and basic bathrooms, all of the beds have chains on them …The sick fukers must have kept these woman chained up like animals. “Where are you Laila” I whisper untill I reach the last door…Its locked with my heart in my mouth we force the door from its hinges and when the door opens what I see inside breaksmy heart, and by the look on my teams faces I’m not the only one. Ki-woo smiled, heading out of the plain living room. “We need to talk.” Darius whispered from behind Astrid and she swallowed. She didn't know which one was more effective on her—the proximity between them, his breath over the back of her neck as he spoke, or the fact that he wanted to talk to her. Matt didn’t move for a second after the knock. “Matt?” Maya’s voice came again, louder this time. Jordy stepped back, his breathing still uneven, his mind scrambling to catch up with everything that had just happened. Matt finally turned toward the door, running a hand through his hair before unlocking it. The door opened. Maya stood there, arms crossed, eyebrows raised. “Why was your door locked?” Matt leaned casually against the frame like nothing had happened. “Privacy exists, you know.”

And the closed doors that had once protected their secret were splintering open, one by one. The explosion had begun.

He could be expecting Thatcher to be showing them everything while he is giving a full detailed verbal run down. The camera finally moves toward one of the only three doors in the space. They don’t even see the hand that opens the door, the first door opens, revealing a bathroom, functional and boring. Thankfully, the vision doesn’t stay for long, just enough for a brief overview and to show no one is hiding in the space. The door closes and the distance between the doors is small, but for the three waiting with bated breath it takes an eternity. They have seen nothing so far.
