Behind Him

Behind Him

She still wanted to know which house before entering any unfamiliar place, even if it was only the pantry, the schoolroom annex, or the borrowed van they used for the drive to the seaside clinic where the nurse knew better than to speak softly on purpose. Progress had not been graceful. Good. Grace had served the old system too well. The children who came after the first three brought their own maps with them. Jonas carried a cracked green marble in his pocket and touched it three times before sleeping. Althea needed one chair in every room angled toward the exit or she could not eat. Micah built towers that leaned and then sat beside them without correcting the tilt, as though proving to hi

Forbidden never felt this good

Forbidden never felt this good

Forbidden ways. I shook my head, telling myself I was imagining it. Surely, I couldn’t feel… this. The bookstore bell jingled as I pushed the door open. The familiar scent of aged paper and coffee filled my nose, grounding me for a moment. I breathed out slowly and moved toward the back, where the quieter shelves waited. I liked the back of the store; it was a little out of sight, perfect for moments of privacy I rarely got elsewhere. And then I saw him.

The Billionaire's Debt-Bride

The Billionaire's Debt-Bride

"They want to build a new 'Light-Grid.' They say it's more efficient, more 'green.' They’ve forgotten what it feels like to have your soul deleted by a glitch." We arrived in Manhattan three days later. The city had a strange, fractured beauty. The Thorne Tower remained a dark, glass needle a monument to the "Black Ledger" era but the streets below were bustling with a new kind of commerce. There were "Scriptoriums" on every corner, places where people went to have their daily transactions witnessed and stamped by bonded printers. The Vance & Daughter shop had been transformed. The boarded-up windows were gone, replaced by reinforced glass that allowed passersby to see the massive Heidel

Midnight Lunar ( Journy to Alpha Kai )

] { Hello Benjamin, I'm looking for books about Mythology } [ Ahhh, well you've come to the perfect place, we have books on everything Mythological! come, follow me ] he walks from behind the counter and leads me upstairs, the stairs are wooden and creak as we make our way upstairs, although the building doesn't look like very much from outside, I must admit it's very neat and well kept, so very well preserved and over all timeless.

After reading the prologue, I give this a 5-star rating. The author has successfully got my attention, albeit werewolves' stories are not my cup of tea. I can feel the love for the family of a father whose duty is to protect them all cost. Kudos!

I really enjoyed this continuation and I can’t wait to read the next book! I just have so many questions…also what of the King’s quadruplets!? Or perhaps there could be like a spin-off that can dive into the vampire side cause since the first book there has been no mention of Skaii’s sister!

Awaken (The moonlight of Monaserus)

Alyssa exclaimed after seeing all the things on a particular page. "What Is it, Alyssa?" Asked Berk worried. "Don't worry Berk everything is going to be fine, let's go," replied Alyssa as she keeps the book on the floor. "Are we done?" Berk asked surprised. "Yes we are," Alyssa replied and they both left the room. As soon as they turned and left the room, the book closes back by itself, and the book cover reads; 'THE BOOK OF SHADOWS' and then the book disappears. . .

Itzthalia Charm
The skill of the writer is unique, the plot is amazing ❤️and unpredictable and still very transparent, I love Alyssa role as a motivator and supporter to Darrell unlike other random plots where the female protagonist is waiting for her prince charming to rescue her from distress I find that pathetic

What do I say about this book... it’s so powerful. I honestly felt my whole thought process shift after finishing it. Such a beautiful read. With life so hectic is was great to be taken to another world and sink into the story. As always I love these stories and characters created. Always refreshing

Luna of the Menae

Luna of the Menae

There is no mate bond, but having him close makes me feel more secure. “I can’t wait for you to see this.” He rubs his thumb on the top of my hand as he leads me to a store. It’s rare Bronx gets so excited about surprising me. We approach a bookstore with a dusty, old window display. In gold paint, there is a picture of a pan flute and a goat. The images are peeling and sundried as if they’ve been there forever. Over the pictures are the words ‘The Barded Goat Used & Collectible Books’.

This story was “ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL”!! I love love loved it!! So well written & very descriptive!! The characters had such depth! My favourite characters were Bronx and Kas(Iokaste), of course!! They went through “SO” much, but made it through!!

Love this book and this author. She has found a way to write two books that seem like completely different stories but then happen to intertwine at an unexpected point. Ever chapter she posts leaves me wanting more. I can’t wait to continue reading this series!

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The entrance to the Night Market was not a place you could find on any map. It was a tear in the fabric of reality, a shimmering distortion of air tucked away in the grimy, forgotten alley behind a 24-hour laundromat in Queens. To the mundane eye, it was nothing more than heat haze rising from a sewer grate. To those who knew, it was a doorway.

This is one of my favorite stories on GN. It’s been such a nerve-wrecking and engaging read. I will wholeheartedly miss Dalvin :”) Thank you, Author. An epilogue would be lovely if you ever consider it.

As he was walking away, the lady then asked him, “If you don’t mind… do you want to sit at the same table then.” “Are you sure? There are-” “No, I- I insist… Since this corner of the café is the best spot to read, I always sit here, I don’t mind sharing it with you.: “Ah sure, that spot was something I had my eye on since earlier.” Kayne replied. “AH, REALLY, let’s share it then!” Both were really awkward at each other at first but when they found out that both were reading the same book, they eventually got a comfortable to talk at each other.

Behind Their Veneers

Behind Their Veneers

The mountains in the distance that seemed to have endless peaks which projected towards the heavens. These scenarios seemed to only appear in fairy tales, maybe Cinderella or probably in the countryside of London because unfortunately, this was no fairy-tale story. This was Manhattan — an industrial city right in the hearts of New York City, one of the busiest places in the entire U.S. Although, Emerald and Oriana's apartment was situated in the less busy parts of the city, that didn't hinder the hubbub that currently made its way into Emerald's ear canal as she laid still in her bed, her eyebrows furrowing as the hullabaloo seemed to escalate even more.

I like the fact that you used some characters we are familiar with in movies.. improve your food combination, how do you take pizza and coke, who does that?! after the whole dirty talks not even one sex scene?! All in all I love your write up, it's interesting.. keep it up..
