The colors light pink and orange-yellow meshed together perfectly in the sky as the sun touched the horizon. I looked at him, he wasn't paying attention to the beautiful scenario presented to us. "Usually guys with dark trucks are the ones many should stay clear of. You know the whole kidnapping thing.....is still a thing you know?"

Not last long, Stev's car drove ahead just as the traffic lights had just changed color. "Are you all right, Bella?" asked Freya back to speeding hers car like the others. Her eyes sparkled like diamonds as she turned my way and beamed—beamed like I was the sun and moon and stars. The trucker cap on her head was one I purchased at the concession stand. It had a little monster truck on the front and read ‘I eat dirt’ in big, chunky script. Blue Thunder, which had bolts of lightning painted all along its shell, nearly slid sideways as it climbed up another monster truck, creating a stack that had both Anastasia and my obnoxious brother screech

Reluctantly Bella pulled back from Shadow, just enough to see who was interrupting their moment, but when she saw what they had bought with them, a proud smile made her face light up. Onyx had disappeared with Maeve, and Dr Packard followed shortly after, so when Lucy opened the door all the way and pushed the specially made stroller into the small room, there was no noise to mute the unmistakable sounds of cooing and grizzling.
