She took a long swig directly from the bottle, her eyes already glassy from previous drinks. "I haven't had too much!" she announced to no one in particular, spinning in a clumsy circle. Getting free she clenched her jaw trying to calculate if she could make it to Rose in time. RJ sending her thoughts and Levi not following instructions. He pressed the blade into Rose’s throat. A small bead of bright red blood slipped down Rose’s throat. Levi instantly gave and dropped to her knees.

His wolf was agitated, yearning to set the whole world on fire for hurting his mate. "Hadar, she...it seems she has consumed wolfsbane," the healer disclosed. Ryker stilled, shocked. He turned around to glance at Rosalie. "What?" his face was a mask of concern as he approached her unconscious form. The healer pointed towards the sides of her nails which had turned purple- a telltale sign of wolfbane's consumption.

It pulls away, falling like stars of pure shadow. Ella rushes into the hallway. “No–what is he doing?” “Aunt Ella?” I edge toward the window as the power fizzles away. “Ryatt dropped his wards around Moonrise–” A blast of dark, shadowy power rushes around us, sending sparks whizzing through the air. The windows flex, nearly splintering, as Ryatt appears in a cloud of his dark mist, holding a battered woman around the waist. “Lavender?!” I scream, running toward them but slide to a stop when I notice the sheer amount of blood covering Ryatt from head to toe.

She had wavy, jade-green hair which she had tied in a high ponytail, and her chocolate brown eyes seemed to hold so much warmth just like how she smiled at me. Her hand reached up for her chest, where she could feel the pain the most, but one of the females took it, wiping her fingers with liquid Belladonna was certain she had never seen in her life. Thankfully, it was odourless. Belladonna retrained herself from looking up, she knew if she did, she would be staring at one too many naked chests.
