Benji reasons, surprising me that he would defend Charlie’s behaviour. “I just don't want you to think that I agree with what he was saying,” I tell him and he smiles warmly at me. “Nortica, you don't need to apologise for anyone else in this world. Their behaviour isn't your responsibility,” he assures me. “Well, not that I do think that you came here to…you know…but why are you here?” I can't help myself from asking. Benji is attractive with his golden blonde hair, piercing blue eyes and tanned skin but he's not what I want.

He tilted his head and spoke. "You're going to get a hole in your chest if you keep staring at me." His warm voice made the warning feel more like an advice from a close acquaintance. His attire was a familiar but she couldn't make out where she saw it. It was when she noticed a part of the blue dragon tattoo on the side of his neck that she realized. "Are you an assasin from the Hian Ji clan?" She asked without hesitation and continued. "Yes, you are one. A lone wolf at that if I'm not wrong. What is your purpose here?"

It was just that he did not know what had gotten into Benji, who had been acting weirdly today.
