She said in suggestion. Herzl nods and gets up from the couch. Ciara follows him to his bedroom, where he gets to change into his pajamas. Then they sit down on his bed and Ciara begins to tuck him in. As she does, she asks. “Do you want me to tell you a bedtime story?” “Yes, please…" Herzl uttered, his eyes already beginning to droop as he lay comfortably on his bed. Ciara thinks for a moment before replying. “I'll tell you the story of the three little pigs.” She enounced. Herzl's eyes light up, and he gives a sleepy grin.

I hop on the bed and lean my head against her neck as I wrap my self around her. “I can’t sleep alone anymore. My nightmares keep haunting me” I said miserably. “I’m sorry, I wish there was something I could do or give you to make them go away forever” she said as she kissed the top of my head “Do you want me to tell you a bed time story?” she asked softly. I looked up at her radiantly and nodded my head in excitement. “Once upon a time, in a land far away, lived a beautiful young girl…”

She cuddled into him again waiting for him to narrate. Kayden couldn't help but smile at her innocent request, his heart swelling with affection as he caressed her back with gentle strokes. Despite the exhaustion weighing heavily on his shoulders, there was a sense of joy in knowing that he could bring comfort and solace to his beloved wife, even in the simplest of ways. "Hmm... a story of Handsome and the female beast," he replied, his voice soft and soothing as he began to weave a tale to lull her to sleep.

I responded. "I can't sleep while you're awake," she insisted. I smiled genuinely. "Do you have something to keep me entertained?" She pondered for a moment, her expression thoughtful. "Actually, I have just the thing," she said, reaching for a book on the bedside table. "It's a collection of short stories," she explained, handing me the book. "I thought we could take turns reading to each other." I nodded eagerly, intrigued by the idea. "That sounds perfect," I replied, flipping through the pages to find a story to start with.

She said as she yawned, “Betsy said that you were going somewhere safe to start a family!” “Oh…um, kind of, yes.” “Could you tell me a bedtime story?” the girl said as she finally gave up the pointless fight and let her self drift to slumber. “Goodnight,” Trie said, her voice shaky and her eyes teary. “Oh, what a mess.”

And this time, she will never be able to say no to me… *** ASTRID It is nine PM. I have finished reading Zoey and Zara, one of their favourite bedtime stories, Cinderella. I’m about to close the book when Zara’s sleepy voice stops me in my tracks. “Mommy, I have a confession to make.” I turn towards her, my veins thrumming with curiosity. “A confession? That sounds interesting. Do tell.” She blinks those big grey eyes at me and my heart pitter-patters in my chest.

I got her the three piggies story book and began to read it, making the voices, huffing and puffing making her hide behind Zorro sometimes and giggling other times. When the story ended, I told her it's bed time, kissed her cheek, turned the light down before me and Tristan left her room, you'd forget he's there with how little attention she gave him. We moved to my room to spend the rest of the night, we have hardly spent few minutes there before a little someone sneak in my room with her fox stuffy and slip into my lap. "Little bear didn't I say it's bed time?" I ask her, it's ten thirty now, her bedtime was thirty minutes ago.

I said to her at one point, unable to hide my suspicion. “I’m not,” she said simply, offering nothing further, walking away before I could ask anything else. That evening, once Ava had finally fallen asleep after insisting on three extra bedtime stories, I found Sienna curled up on the small couch in the sitting room, a cup of tea warming her hands. “Long day,” she said, making room for me beside her. “Long few weeks,” I said, sitting down close enough that our shoulders touched. “Three bedtime stories tonight?” she asked, smiling slightly. “She’s negotiating you up every night.”

She sat up quickly, looking around the room like someone was chasing us. I quickly grabbed her shoulders. “Calm down. Calm down.” I patted her arm as she tried to steady her breathing. “It’s nothing.” She yawned loudly, clearly annoyed, and tried to lie back down. “Don’t sleep.” “Vanezza!” I quickly opened my bag and pulled out the bundles of cash. “This is money! This is money!!” I spread the bundles across the bed. She rubbed her eyes slowly, still half asleep, trying to focus.

I opened the box and read letter after letter. "Austin, you big dummy! You never text me if I don't text you first. Don't you care about me?" "Every time I look at my notebook, it's filled with your name. I miss you so much, Austin." "I heard you've found yourself a girlfriend. Does she treat you well? Does she love you like I do?" "It's fine. I just hope you'll always be happy, Austin. I want nothing but the best for you."
