One word, SUPERB!! This novel got everything you need. Sweet and funny encounter. D first few chaps would have you cracking your ass out in a fit of laughter. Damn, author's writing style is unique and this book brings out the not so touched part in a CEO romance where it is centered on a mother.

Omega (Book 1)

Hence, she put it back in its spot among other dusty books and walked to another shelf. She came across a couple of other books but she knew none of them will give her any information on what she sought after; ‘Moon Goddess' Mate’ by U. Tipper, ‘The Hybrid's special Guide’ by L. O. Klark, ‘Tribid Greed’ by Steve Reynolds, and a lot of other books.

I say it appreciatively, and he only grunts in response before walking away. I go into the mystical creatures island, and I stare at the amount of books on the shelves. How the hell am I supposed to pick just one out of all of this? A particular hardcover catches my attention. It appears ancient, yet it’s lilac, exactly the same color as my eyes. I take it off the shelf and grin when I see its title. THE HISTORY OF OMEGAS: HOW THE DIVINE BEINGS CAME TO BE. Yes! This is it! This is the book!

The Teacher's Obsession

The Teacher's Obsession

I slam my door in response. Once I’m in bed, I finally open the math book. My eyes land again on the first page: Jace Adkins. My finger hovers over the number, but then I slap myself and actually start reading. Turns out, everything’s explained much more clearly in the teacher’s version. Maybe I could get Mason to snag me a copy. I make it through the first 100 pages—enough to grasp the basics of the numbers. Talking about numbers.. The book opens at the first page all by itself. Biting my lip in doubt, I grab my phone and contemplate a lot of things.

One of the best books I’ve read in a long time. Their chemistry is off the charts, their dynamic is to die for. Not a single moment of boredom to be had. It’s one of those books you wish would never end, but sadly, does. It’s also one I’ll definitely come back to re-read!! You won’t be disappointed.

WILD BOOKS: A COLLECTION OF NAUGHTY STORIES

WILD BOOKS: A COLLECTION OF NAUGHTY STORIES

“Quiet doesn’t mean unbothered. Just good at hiding it.” We fell into silence. The only sound was distant thunder rumbling above ground. I wondered how long we’d be down here. Minutes stretched. My mind wandered to how close he was. How alone we were. “Tell me something,” I said finally. “Why’d you become a librarian? You don’t seem like the type who likes being stuck behind a desk all day.” Mr. Kane exhaled softly. “Books don’t talk back. They don’t expect small talk. I like the order. And the stories. What about you? History major with a focus on obscure trade? That’s not common.”

CHAINED TO THE ALPHA KING

It's possible, right? So, the code has four numbers. 8,9,1, and 0. But...there is no 0 on the page numbers! I opened the book to page 8. I looked at that page and just like the other pages, there seemed to be nothing strange written there. I stared intently at the page and read some sentences on it.

Frequently Asked Questions

When someone mentions numbers in titles for a fast read, my mind goes straight to novellas and young adult books. They’re structured for pace. 'Fahrenheit 451' is the classic example—short, incendiary, and you can finish it in an afternoon. It’s not just the page count; the prose is so direct it pulls you through.

For something completely different, 'The 100' by Kass Morgan. It’s a YA sci-fi series starter, and the first book moves at a breakneck speed. The chapters are short, the conflicts are immediate, and the number in the title literally refers to the number of characters sent to Earth. It’s pure plot momentum.

I’d also throw in 'Slaughterhouse-Five' though it’s not traditionally a ‘quick’ read thematically. Its non-linear, short-chapter format makes it deceptively easy to consume in chunks. You find yourself saying ‘just one more chapter’ because they’re so brief, and suddenly you’re halfway through. The number grounds the chaos of the narrative in a specific, terrible location.
