I channeled the golden radiance of the Lycan Queen, and Kaelen met it with the piercing silver energy of the First Guardian’s bloodline. The two forces merged in the air, forming a spear of light so bright it momentarily blinded me. I could see Hope inside the glass, her tiny form suspended in a sea of liquid silver-oil. Her emerald-crimson eyes were almost entirely silver now.
