His finger joints were thick and huge, and along with his radiant gaze, it was clear that he was an expert martial artist. That said, Harvey York could smell formalin even if he stood far away from the man. Penny was right. Cedric smelled like a literal corpse.

The sorceress had a keen sight and was too fast for Penny. She smiled at Penny. “You must be mad to even think of killing me with this spear.” She ran her hand over the tip of the spear and then circled her thumb just below the tip. Willow refused to listen to any of the words that left Penny's mouth. Her face flushed red, and her breathing turned ragged. Meanwhile, Penny had gotten breakfast. The look on Willow’s face turned even uglier when she noticed it was a breakfast set for two.
