Each second she spent here in the Beta's room made her more and more unconformable. She was in the room of a merciless killer and each time she turned her back to the room door behind her, she got an ominous feeling like someone was going to barge in at any second. Suddenly, as if the universe was trying to bring her fears to life, she heard footsteps approaching from the other end of the door, causing a cold shiver to run down her spine. "Dad, wait up! I forgot my birkin." Hailey's voice echoed from the other end of the door.

"Grandpa, don't cry… I'll give you a hug. Hugs will make you feel better…" I spun around and found him crouching in the corner, talking to the air and opening his arms wide.
