To Marry a Monster

To Marry a Monster

his voice trembled, his scent turning completely putrid with fear. Memories from his cub days flooded his mind—a terrifying, faceless entity that used to haunt his old bedroom in the outer manor, stroking his jaw, striking his flanks, and following his scent whenever he woke during the dark moon. He had been so utterly traumatized back then that he had locked himself in the stone bathing quarters, collapsing in his own sweat. That ghost had been the ultimate nightmare of his youth. Had the executioner returned to finish the job after all these years? “Is it your shadow? Have you come back to claim my blood? Go find another wolf to hunt!” Bryce whimpered into the suffocating silence.

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

"Of course. Why wouldn't I?" Griffin grinned. "The real question is, are you scared? If you are, you can hide in my arms. I'll protect you." Hayley stared at him for a second before punching him. "Ow! Alright, never mind. You don't need protection. Even ghosts would be scared of you." Just then, they heard the sound of a cane. Thump. Thump. Thump! Hayley tightened her grip on Griffin and looked toward the sound.

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

he threatened and the scent of fear in the air became apparent as people shook from fear of the unknown. “Evanson Flint” he paused and when he saw the red tick by the side, he growled lowly in his throat as the guy walked out, full of arrogance and entitlement but I could smell some bits of fear rousing from his pores the more we all stared at him. “Can I poison him? It will be a one hour agonizing poison” Grayson asked as he took one look at the paper Jared was holding and I nodded. Not trusting myself to tear him apart.

Swears this is one of the books that kept me actually reading. great job author. I love the new dynamics in your writing. you didn't just necessarily make the female lead stronger. Instead you made her feel loved and I love it. I love seeing her doubt everything.

Perfect.. Just perfect, the way it's written and the fillers of Grayson and Myra is really inviting and interesting to read. it keeps you hooked with so much emotions and makes you feel as if you're the one experiencing everything.

Ivone's heart leapt into her throat, her heart racing with a primal fear as the werewolf's low, menacing growl shattered the silence of the night, echoing through her room like a warning from the depths of hell. Her eyes snapped open in a flash of adrenaline-fueled fear. Her mind reeled as she tried to process the horror that stood before her, her thoughts racing with primal fears and desperate prayers for escape.

“You don’t enjoy inflicting pain, so why did you tell Sin that?” “Because I wanted him to think that we were both the same,” he replied with a deadpanned look on his face – as if that should have been obvious. “He knows he’s a sick son of a bitch, and I used his fear of himself against him.” He shrugged and went to wash his hands before going to church. “It’s a horror movie thing that Grace showed me. That your greatest fear is fear itself, and that’s only in your head.” I threw my head back and laughed.

Field Team 42: Paranormal Responders

The wind rustled through the tall grass, carrying with it the scent of the earth and something more—a sharp, metallic tang that filled the air with a sense of unease. “This is it,” Mitch said quietly, his voice tight. “This is where it all ends.” We reached a hilltop overlooking the vast expanse of the Grimsby estate. In the distance, I saw a silhouette moving in the dark, too tall to be human, and too unnerving in its shape. “There,” Mitch whispered. “He’s out there.” I followed Mitch’s gaze, my eyes narrowing. “Is that him?” Mitch nodded, but it was clear that the skinwalker was waiting for us. He wasn’t going to make this easy. The figure moved slowly, as if drawing us into a trap. It was

The werewolf snarled, its gaze flicking between us, then bolted through a side door, its footsteps echoing as it vanished. I gasped, my chest heaving, tears streaming down my face as I scrambled to my feet. My hands shook, my body trembling with fear and adrenaline. I looked up, my vision clearing, and my breath caught. It was him—Mr. Grayson, the man from last night, the one who’d sat at my family’s table, his eyes locked on mine like he knew me. His face was calm now, his smile gentle but unreadable, like he’d expected this. What was he doing here? Was he stalking me now?

“It takes more than one grown werewolf to stop a rogue. There was nothing you could have done.” “Will Grace be OK?” she wailed, twisting her head and trying to look. I turned so she couldn’t see. She had enough for her nightmares already. “Did he say anything?” I asked, trying to keep her busy. “No, he just snarled and growled and hit Grace. I was so scared!” “Of course you were.”

الأسئلة الشائعة

I recently dove into 'The Grifter' and was blown away by how it kept me on edge. The protagonist’s journey from a small-time con artist to a master manipulator is both thrilling and unnerving. The author does an incredible job of making you root for someone you know you shouldn’t. The pacing is perfect, with twists that feel earned rather than forced. What really stood out to me was the moral ambiguity—it’s not just about the grift but the cost of living a life built on lies. The supporting characters are well-developed, each adding layers to the story. I found myself thinking about the book long after I finished it, especially the ending, which was both satisfying and haunting. If you’re into psychological thrillers with depth, this is a must-read.

One thing I appreciated was how the book explores the psychology of deception. It’s not just about the tricks but the mindset of someone who thrives on manipulation. The author’s research shines through, making the cons feel authentic. The dialogue is sharp, and the settings are vividly described, pulling you into the world of the grifter. I’ve seen some reviews calling it predictable, but I think the predictability is part of the charm—it’s like watching a train wreck in slow motion, knowing it’s coming but unable to look away. Overall, 'The Grifter' is a gripping read that delivers on all fronts.
