“Harvey! You’re finally here! “I’ve been waiting for you!” Whitley Cobb quickly pushed Billie Higgs after seeing Harvey York’s arrival. Billie forced out a smile as she walked over. I just smiled wryly and moved the topic towards the newest contract Mr. Hargrove would be signing with me. After we’d on terms and conditions, Mr. Hargrove motioned the server for the bill. “Let me settle this quickly. I have an appointment in twenty.” As he opened his wallet, a card caught the light. Black. Metallic sheen. A tiny crest in the upper corner, almost invisible unless you knew where to look.

Then *he* walked in. Professor William Hargrove—tall, broad-shouldered, short dark-and-gray facial hairs that make his strong jawline look even more defined. His button-down stretched tight across his chest, sleeves rolled up, revealing strong, muscular forearms. A bit of a tattoo peeks under his rolled-up sleeve. My panties went damp in a heartbeat.

His normally easy smile on his clean-shaven face seemed forced. "Beloved," he said as he stopped in front of me. "Cole." I nodded in greeting. "I have something for you. We were going to give it to you tonight with a big party, but I think it might come in useful now." He held out a leather jacket in my size with the Ardor Brother's crest on the back of it. I accepted it running my fingers over the embroidery. "Wow, thank you." "It's from all of us. It has a Kevlar built into it. Normally it's supposed to protect from falls from a bike, but it also comes in handy with light shrapnel. Not a direct hit, though."

“Looks like outerwear is back here.” I’m tempted to chastise Jax for his use of the term ‘outerwear’, but the guy is here to help me- so instead I just keep my mouth shut and follow him to the back corner of the store. Catch!" Tony tossed Dillon's new jacket to him. Nice genuine brown cowhide leather with an ivory sheepskin collar. "Wait, is this for me?!" He looked close at the brass zipper and ornate brass buttons. Tony smiled. "Damn straight kid! Yer ridin' wit' me now! Gotta look the part, right?" He winked. "Yooohohoho this is wild! Is this real? Dude this had to be expensive, is this ok? How much was this? You didn't have to-" Tony cut him off with a kiss.

But today, thanks to Billy, she had enough! Leering at the slightly red mark on Sherman's wrist that had been strangled by him, Billy let go of her and shrugged his shoulders lazily. Then he leaned on the desk behind him with his hands clasping his chest. Kingsley walked in quickly. He was dressed in a black coat with a fur collar, which added to the nobility emanating from him. The two men were completely different types, and it could be seen clearly from the style of their clothes. Billy was dressed in dark red, just like him, flamboyant and presumptuous.
