The Debt Collector's Price

The Debt Collector's Price

The entire apparatus is a physical computer, mechanical data storage that predates digital code by a generation. It is alive. Moving. Feeding. "This is Cold War era infrastructure," Gabriel says, his voice low, respectful of the monster in the room. "Analog mainframe engineering. Industrial control systems." "Built for the late 80s. Hardened. Isolated." I point to the thick cables feeding into the racks and the hydraulic pump housings. They are humming, hot to the touch even from here. "Those are pulling power from the building's electrical grid. That is why the lights are failing upstairs. Why the elevators stopped. This system is consuming operational capacity to keep itself turning."

HALF BREED

HALF BREED

Data was represented by billions of binary ons and offs. The Byronzanie machines used tiny mirrors in place of transistors, and gallium arsenide "window shades" to switch the light on and off. Not only that, but the light based computers ran programs based on the same binary codes developed for use with "glass" machines, which made the technologies compatible. Humans had pursued the technology as well, but the Byronzanie machines were not only superior, but ideal for the global telecommunications system required by the more populous races. The fact that huge, subsurface dwelling worms profited from a technology based on light, struck Sophie as a delightful irony. She heard someone approach b

The Rejected Luna's Twin Alphas

The Rejected Luna's Twin Alphas

And then, I heard it. The sound of three thousand tiny, synchronized heartbeats, all fluttering at the exact same rhythm. The Architects hadn't just put them in stasis; they had "Synchronized" them into a single, massive Biological Processor. The infants were being used as a backup server for the planetary code. “My God,” I whispered, looking through the vents at the rows of glowing, sapphire vats. “They’re not babies anymore. They’re 'Data-Points.'”

When His Eyes Opened

When His Eyes Opened

Avery wondered. "They're interested in the Super Brain System that our company designed. This system, in general terms, is artificial intelligence, and with it, there is no longer any need for a driver. Also, this system can be applied to other fields, such as, robots, drones and others." "Is this system so valuable?" Avery asked.

My Ex Wants It After the Divorce

My Ex Wants It After the Divorce

"If you destroy the heart, the robot is technically dead. Likewise, if you introduce changes to its heart, the remaining systems will change too. It's because of the heart that the robot can move in the first place. So, it has to be the same for these supercomputers. If we can destroy the central defense point, the defense system will be destroyed next. Edward's eyes gleamed faintly. "If they have a similar design principle and both were designed by your mother, the central defense points must be the same for both." Liana nodded. "Yes, so what we need to do now is find the heart of these supercomputers. "But where would it be?"

This book is one of a kind…well written full of suspense and thrill. Not a floppy romance story where the leading character always festured as an underdog, no backbone…at least Liliana is portrayed with integrity and humbleness .........

I CANNOT RATE THIS BOOK YET. I HAVE TO READ UNTIL THE MIDDLE OF IT. I HOPE IT WILL NOT REACH A THOUSAND CHAPTERS LIKE THE OTHERS THAT I'VE STARTED READING AND EVENTUALLY I STOPPED BECAUSE OF THE SCHEMES AND TWISTS WHICH DRAGGED THE STORY THAT MAKE IT BORING.

Reborn to Reject: A Million to Burn the Cheater’s Regret

"If we try to block him with traditional firewalls, he’ll just digest the code and grow stronger. The only way to stop a biological server is to engage it from within the network itself." He forced the crate open, revealing a sleek, spider-like headset woven with silver filaments that shimmered like liquid moonlight. "Neural Direct Link. I’ve been modifying the Cybers prototype. It will bypass every software layer and plug your consciousness directly into the raw data stream." "You’re talking about a suicide mission!" Jake shouted, his voice cracking. "If his algorithm overwhelms her, her brain will fry in seconds. Or worse—he’ll assimilate her. She’ll just become another line of code in his

He then pointed out the necessary information and uses of the equipment. "Are you ready, Anna?" Asked Mr. Faiz, bracing himself, but she just smiled, and made rote apologies about not listening to his explanation earlier, how could she when Harry's been eyeing him. "My point is, the human brain was akin to a supercomputer built on top of a clunker. The clunker was your primitive, reptilian, survival brain. The supercomputer does your proper thinking, is logical, fair, and kind. When you are afraid, the bandwidth of your supercomputer gets used up, leaving the clunker to do all your thinking for you. You go from outstanding to primal and basic in a heart-beat, and this device can do way more

I love the new aspect of this one. This is unique and wonderful to read. For someone to have such ability to dream and go to the supernatural world I'm already hooked up. This is a wonderful piece. I hope they won't charged every chapter too expensive this time. Please GN makes it affordable.

The Accountant

The Accountant

*** "Hey, Lily Billy. Wassup?" "Rolling my eyes from your silliness." Beau smiled despite her melancholy. "I know you love me." "I wish I didn't. Shakes my head. I found you a legit client." The Beau System she had invented from scratch was more advanced than China's Wuxi. Her computer can perform around 200,000 trillion calculations per second. And she could climb any secure server known to man. It was twice as fast and three times as efficient that it can surpass any software in the world.

This book is clearly based on the film The Accountant (which is a great watch) but I love the take on it that the author has gone with. Very well written and the descriptions are amazing. Definitely leaves you panting for more. I'm looking forward to the next book and further ones written by them.

A/N Hi, babies! Thanks for giving THE ACCOUNTANT a try. My story has a proper ending and that is in Chapter 33: The Beginning. However, I have submitted a BONUS CHAPTER, a snippet of their wedding day to introduce the next book on the series which is OF LUST AND LOVE (Dinara and Rafael's story).

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

But it was like having the blueprints for a fusion reactor and only having a bonfire to build it with. “To use this,” Dr. Aris said, his voice a reverent whisper, “to ‘compile’ and ‘run’ this code on Jack’s damaged bloodline… you would need a biological supercomputer. A gene-splicing laboratory with technology fifty years ahead of anything on the open market. A place that understands not just genetics, but the unique energetic properties of a supernatural bloodline. Such a place… it doesn't exist.” The flicker of hope died as quickly as it had been born.
