The sound of wings flapping from above draws my eyes up as I follow the shape of something black and mammoth as it lands only feet away from Dominic and me. Are you the one who released me?" with a pale face, the Black Human Figure asked. He took a second look around to observed the burnt and charred, broken earth, then he surmised that it was the 'strange red creature' that set him free.

A pair of dark blue eyes and ruby red ones met halfway. “Stop right there, old geezer,” said Damon under his breath. “Y-You dare!” A deep knot lodged between Michael the Loyal’s face as his face contorted from the fact that his heavenly body was tainted by a demon-spawn’s touch. The leader of the arc angels took four steps backward as he caressed his wrist which was touched by the halfling prince.

Angel’s POV Ace seemed torn, caught between the darkness that enveloped him and my offer. His voice cracked as he spoke, "But what if I never get better? What if I'm stuck like this forever?" Cassian slowly raised the small black device that had been resting in his palm. His black eyes darkened, calm but foreboding, like a storm gathering on the horizon.
