Japhtar sang, wagging a blood-soaked claw at me so that I had to wonder how many brain cells he had left in his giant, misshapen head.
Looking at him, the wrong, skewered mould of his head, made me want to wash my eyes with bleach and bury them in clay.
“Don't do this Japhtar, It’s not worth it, this fight is bigger than you,” I gritted, trying to reason with the Were beast who was leaning casually on one leg before he threw his head back and barked a laugh that set my ears on fire.
