Denver – in his beast form – howled like a madman – before he tried to open the prison cell by colliding his body in it. His eyes widened as he saw the dented prison cell before it whimpered and growled – like it just made him more… livid. This time, even King Levi felt a bit of fear inside him. Even though he knew about this already – he was still disoriented and just so shocked at how this happened. Denver’s beast form is just too powerful, and he didn’t know what might happen if he got out from this cell.

He walked back to the Don's building and met the Don having fun with his call bitch in the clan, Kristen. Kristen was the bitch whom the Don calls when he's frustrated or angry or just needs to get a load off. She was a mobster in the clan and was quite skilled. Being the Don's call bitch, she carried herself with an air and would always bully the weaker mobsters or the maids. As soon as Daniel walked in, the boss ordered Kristen out. I meant to barter them.” The gruff one laughed. “These rags?” Then the deep voice cut in again. “Wait.” A sharp sniff followed. “Do you smell that?” “That would be the fish, sir,” Arlo said. The voice rumbled with a low grumble. “There’s something else… a faint scent.”

She cut herself and held out her hand in the air, so the blood dropped into the sacred bowl. " Hold your hands together so the cuts meet," he said. I turned and faced her, her pretty face was a charm on its own and I found myself struggling to concentrate. I stretched out my hands to her, she did the same and placed her cut palm on mine. A spark was felt and I knew she felt it as well. The fire began to burn so well. Our wolves began to collide and I was struggling to breathe. It seemed the two wolves were trying to become one and we were the ones being affected by it.

His expression was grim as he locked eyes with the thing that had attacked. Ares’ face was pale, his fists clenched at his sides. Brandon had already fallen into a fighting stance, his head tilted slightly as he mind-linked the warriors. Then the beast roared. It was massive. Nearly twice the size of a normal werewolf. Its fur was pitch-black, matted with something dark and foul-smelling. Its eyes glowed a sickly yellow. It bent down, ripped a full tree from the ground, and hurled it straight at us.

But behind those doors, beneath the perfume and chandeliers, the truth rotted like a slow-burning wound. Agustin stepped out of the vehicle, clad in black from head to toe — tailored coat, matte gloves, and boots that didn’t make a sound when he moved. His eyes scanned the building, calculating exits, guards, and patterns. He didn’t need a full hour. Just ten minutes to read the heartbeat of the place. This wasn’t the first time he’d brought down a monster hiding in silk.

“That beast above you.” Arth raised his head. “What’s he talking ab—” His lips slowly parted in shock, seeing an enormous beast with a bulked-up body. No doubt, it was a bergora, a mixed breed of a polar bear and white gorilla. It stood on the high branches of the tall trees, its dark, brown eyes fierce enough to make Arth’s heart jump. Arth yelled a curse, swiftly stepping backward as the beast suddenly jumped from the branches. The ground shook as the beast landed, strong wind blasting hard.

There was no need for words—they moved instinctively, rushing toward each other. But then, a thunderous roar shattered the air from above. A massive shadow fell between them, the impact shaking the earth. The shockwave hurled Arah backward, and a powerful gust of wind stole the breath from her lungs. She slammed against the wall, coughing as she struggled to regain her balance. Her wide eyes snapped upward, and she froze at the sight of the colossal winged beast with black and gray scales. The creature towered over Arah like a nightmare brought to life.

He fell to the ground, almost unable to move. Dammit! His attempt to recover quickly became impossible as his left shoulder had been crushed in all brutality. He clenched his jaws… squeezed his eyes shut in agony of holding his injury. A clear glance of the beast had petrified Arth more. A terrifying, black snake, incredibly gigantic… slowly crawled on the snow with its red eyes leered at him. Its body elongated, about five times the size of a regular man. Seeing the black and sturdy scales, as tough as metal, told him that he had no chance of using his sword against it. No doubt… it was an A-class beast—his first ever encounter in his whole life.
