She waited, patiently, because she knew, today was the day, where she would put an end to it all. A horn was soon blown and it resounded in the air. Soon, the other covens heard about it and they started to make their way to Athens. They all wanted to see for themselves if the death warrior was really back. Arkadia arrived at Athens and all their people gathered in a place, separated from the Silver-Crest coven, followed by the Night Raiders, ruled by Gabriel. They all trooped in with their people one after the other and then, the coven who never make themselves known, soon arrived. It was the Dark shadows Coven. They were all men, and they are the brothers of the Blackburns.

KELLY THOMPSON'S POV In a brilliant explosion of light, the darkness shattered, and the Black Faes were thrown back into the shadows from whence they came. Baddy's shrieks of fury echoed in the air as he was forced to retreat, his power diminished and his malevolent presence momentarily vanquished. The battlefield, once chaotic and filled with the sounds of clashing steel and desperate cries, fell silent. The oppressive weight of the darkness lifted, replaced by the faint glow of the moonlight breaking through the clouds.

I grew weak, drawing close to the darkness. I heard cries of my name and the wailing of sirens in a distance. Darkness finally consumed me, I had blacked out.

I say hesitantly. “Sup dude? How’s life on the dark side?” Xane blurts out. “Don’t be a douchebag.” Donnie buts in. “It’s fine Donnie. Life couldn’t be worse, couldn’t be better.” I huff. “Cool.” Xane laughs. “Show him the mask for the game we are playing later!” Alex chuckles. “Sure. Plain white mask, black hoodie and Dead Man’s Woods. We’re going to play manhunt.” Donnie says with a smile.

⸻ Suddenly— A cold wind swept through the hallway. All the candles extinguished simultaneously. The temperature dropped sharply. ⸻ A familiar voice echoed behind her. “You cannot save him…” “…by lying.” ⸻ Seraphina turned. The Black Widow stood in the darkness. Her silver hair moved gently despite the still air. This time… She looked weaker. Almost transparent. ⸻ “You came back.” Seraphina whispered. ⸻ “I don’t have much time.” The old woman replied.

--- Sundown came faster than I wanted. I stood at the gates of the fortress. A black horse stood beside me. Saddled. Ready. Draven mounted his own beast—a massive stallion the color of charcoal. He looked like a king. A warlord. A man who had seen too much death and was about to see more. Ravenna stood in the shadows of the gate. Her red eyes burned holes into my back. I could feel them. Twin brands. "She's going to betray you," Ravenna called out. "You know that, right?"

"My lord..." The voice rumbled through the room like a collapsing mountain. *Then the time for hiding in the shadows is officially over.* The massive crimson eyes narrowed in the dark. *Prepare the Eclipse Gate.* Across the jagged eastern mountains, a massive pillar of pure black light suddenly shot upward, piercing the night sky like a dark scar. Even from the distant balconies of Blackthorn Palace... Killian, Seraphina, and Aiden could see the terrifying dark beacon shining on the horizon. It was a silent, unyielding warning.

The city lights stretch out below me like a sea of fake gold, but my eyes are locked on the dark silhouette of the Moonshade Atelier rising in the distance. Tristan Blackmoor thinks he can burn my work, frame my ghost name, and force me back into his pack chains. Seraphina Duskryn thinks she can use my old codes to start a war between the syndicates. They don't know who they're playing with. I pull the throttle back, the engine screaming under me as I slice through the dark. My hand tightens around the grip of the silver dagger tucked into my belt. Suddenly, my burner phone vibrates violently inside my inner pocket.
