The book is about the tough murders he has solved, including his analysis of the psychology of criminals in detail. I didn't expect him to be so young and handsome." Centuries have passed and that girl, even when it's tough for me to concede, is probably dead. Thus, another girl, a grown-up lady is always appearing. This dilemma has been present for ever since year 2018 started, goddamn it! I paved my way through the Italian bar. Asher admired how this floor seemed like a completely different world from the club down below. The Golden walls around them sported fancy faux oil lamps that gave the hall a calming glow. The carpets below their feet were blood red with golden accents and the doors to either of their sides were simple wood with golden overlay and gold metal plates displaying room numbers. Anyone with eyes could easily understand the higher the floors the more important the people were. Room 1510 appeared just to Ashers right. Taking a deep breath he motioned for David to knock, feeling it would be rude to just enter. Nodding David balled his fist and connected it with the door.

He heard his father resorted with frustration in his voice. “Dear, you shouldn’t be here. Go back to your room.” His mother hurriedly whispered when she noticed him listening to their conversation. “Wait, did you just say men in black?” Hyde resorted when he came back to his senses. His companion didn’t speak but answered him with a mere nod. “Oh, and one more thing, she also said that one of them has some kind of black bird tattoo on the neck.” Hyde was stunned when he heard about the tattoo. He’s certain, that the deceased man was one of them—or just a scapegoat.

“You don’t have to tell him anything. He can see us.” My head swiped up instantly and I searched around for cameras but found none. “How is he able to see us?” I whispered to Sly, almost shoving my body into his. “Are there hidden cameras?” I got ignored again. We stopped right outside a door then Sly typed in a code. The door opened and he stepped aside and gestured for me to enter. “Have a lovely evening Ms. Shirley.”

I even threatened Matthew that if he did not send Shirley away right then, I would jump off a building. My craziness frightened everyone. They did not want a tragedy on Christmas Eve, so they convinced Matthew to have Shirley leave for a while. However, nobody expected that Shirley would faint from low blood sugar while walking in the neighborhood. With no one around to find her, she froze to death on that Christmas Eve night. It was a heartbreaking loss. After hearing the news, I was filled with remorse. However, Matthew, he changed for the better. He did not blame me and turned into the perfect husband.

Dad grabbed the nurse, throwing her out of the room alongside himself. "Well-done, Emily, you have accomplished your mission." A sinister scent emerged, a wicked laugh echoing across the room. The once blue sky was now a mixture of black and white with the moon reflecting its radiant image. Wails filled the air as a ray of light fell from the sky, hitting a mountain on the other side of town. I groaned, wincing as my hand was scorched by the flaming book. The pages settled, words in red appearing on the pages. "Strigoi, Nosferatu, Jiangshi…"
