"Meow..." Meat Bun held the giant egg, which was as tall as a man, in front of Zephyr Khan with a treasure-like face. Then, the cat's claws quickly cut across it. Suddenly, there was a crack on the eggshell, and wisps of exotic fragrance were quickly released from it. This was clearly a product produced by some type of enormous creature. Meanwhile, the liquid that flowed out from it was as pure as gold, carrying an incomparably enticing fragrance.

It has a varied significance: gentleness in one tradition and sensuality in another. Both sexes of the goat symbolize fertility, vitality and ceaseless energy. The he-goat (buck) is the epitome of masculine virility and creative energy, while the female (doe) typifies the feminine and generative power and abundance.’

From the veins that wrap around it, I can see the black stringy tar that covers the ground bleeding from it. I look down at the ground, then at the egg. Is this the essence the crawlers are made of? Just the thought of wading through crawler mass makes my stomach churn.

A couple of weeks later, Emily had quite forgotten about her gift request, and she was surprised when Byron reminded her.
