The scent of blood and smoke fills the air, and I can hear the sounds of bones crunching as I notice members of my pack getting shot and unable to transform into their wolf form. What the hell is going on? That's impossible. "Alpha," Ophelia yells out rushing to my side through the crowds. I turn to meet her gaze, she has a black cloak on and her face is painted with white paint. "Ophelia, how long will it take to build the shield? Something isn't right," I say my golden eyes glowing brightly.

CHAPTER 1 LUCIANA MILANO (Present time) “Ophelia Marie Milano can you please hurry up baby, momma is going to be late” I yelled from downstairs. Ophelia is my pride and joy, she’s my everything and everything a mother would wish for. She’s a beautiful 4 year old with gorgeous black hair that she sadly inherited from her father and magnificent hazel eyes that she got from me.

Ophelia was the best candidate to be my Luna. I sent for Ophelia to help me with a little issue. The injured warrior from the rogue attack was getting worse. He wasn't in a condition to be moved around, so I had to send for one of the best healers and doctors in Lunaria, Ophelia Nightshade. Once she heard of the summons, she was more than happy to come. I was certain she was more glad to cause problems for me than solve this problem. She smiled sweetly, her bluish grey eyes sparkled. "I let myself in. There is no secretary. Aren't you happy to see me?" She asked.

Exhaling I let my eyes shift and my ability started to work. I saw people laughing and talking, sitting on desks. There was others working hard on the computers and a stunning woman was walking into the building as I let my eyes scan the room for any clues while my foresight was in full swing. There she was walking through the doors. She was tall and elegant, pure white hair that was so very long, her smile was pure and innocent, her eyes were the most amazing green, with mother of pearl streaks through them. She was truly a gift from the goddess. That had to be Ophelia, Savannah's mother, can definitely see where she got her eyes from.

"Aww... Look at you! So smitten and pathetic... how cringeworthy, tsk tsk tsk tsk." The Dark Fairy, Ophelia, mocked Naia. Her appearance was anything but dark; platinum blonde hair, porcelain white skin, and a white lacey dress. Her silver fairy wings were folded and had faint gray and purple patterns. Anyone would be deceived by how pure and innocent she looked, except for her eyes that told a whole different story. "She's not interested in your taunts and jibes. Can you do something about it? Make him pay?" Tritheia scoffed.

Kim voiced lowly. “No one is dragging us back!” the brunette woman behind me yelled, flashing the torchlight behind her at their faces. Her cheeks burned with venom. She was a fierce player. “Hey, relax?” the dude, Rick? chipped in. “Tell that to your friend.” She jabbed the light in Ophelia’s face. Ophelia froze with a scoff. “Gosh! I hate weak people!” she eyed her. We got to the main boulder with a tiny slit-like opening. At the mouth of it was a curtain of water pouring down in a massive fall.

She woke up in his bed with no memory of the night before. He was Dominic Blackwell — the most feared Alpha in Evermont, ruthless, cold, and devastatingly gorgeous. I can finally see her and not just perceive her. "Alexios, how great to see you again." Sophia's mom's voice might have sounded friendly, but her eyes, her gaze were anything but friendly. "And who is this pretty lady beside you?" She asked referring to Ophelia. "You all heard that right? I am a lady not a kid!" Ophelia snorted using the mind link. "That's my youngest Ophelia." Mom answered smiling. "She is an eight grader." I almost laughed as mom added that. Ophelia's reaction was priceless and I wished I had captured that.

When the door barged open, I wiped off the tears quickly from my eyes, hating to have anyone see me in that broken state. I forced out a rough smile, expecting to see the maid, June, but lo and behold, it was the wicked witch, his mistress; Ophelia. My smile fell off my face, dread replacing whatever positive feeling I’d tried feigning. Her raven black hair glistened under the bright lighting of the room and her blood-red lips parted into a wickedly beautiful smile, cat eyes gleaming.
