I rush into the arena, and the sight in front of me makes me pause. In the middle of the pit is a massive three-tailed fox, its white fur gleaming under the dim lights. The crowd is on their feet, screaming and roaring with bloodlust. The fox is surrounded by five wolves and a panther, each one circling, waiting for an opening. But it’s not just any fox. “Shit,” I mutter, my heart racing. It’s Legion.

When the blinding light finally dimmed, every soul who was still seated before was forced to stand up. The creature on the field was indeed a wolf- a gigantic one, even bigger than the black wolf. This she-wolf possessed very rare pearl white fur, rare eyes, was taller than the black wolf and even had, not one, not two, but freaking nine long tails that seemed to be alive!

Her back arched and bowed, fur spreading all over her skin and with one final snap, she slumped down. Panting and exhausted, but it was over! She’d shifted! And I gaped as I slowly moved closer to her. Her fur was the brightest shade of red that I’d ever seen. Thick and slick. Just looking at it I could feel how soft it was. Unable to help myself, I let a hand run through it, confirming that it was indeed just as smooth as silk. Only then did I take in the rest of her. All four paws were black, making it look like she was wearing dark socks. A white underbelly and a white-tipped tail, reminding me more of a fox than a wolf.
