When I got to my office, I panicked. I sat down on my office chair and saw a spider walked towards a notebook on my table. I grabbed the notebook quickly and bravely slammed the notebook over the spider. The spider decimated which created a gross goggly look on my table. I grabbed a tissue and wiped the spider with it and dismissed it into a garbage can. By the time I was done, I sat back down and contemplated how Alpha Nate's wound seemed to have healed overnight. It was crazy. Alpha Nate's POV

Raw and Rough! "The man denied that he doesn't have a cat but we broke in and..." He hit the spot and I cried. Our erotic breathing filled the dark room. "And found the cat buried under the pillows..." My voice was nothing but weak whispers. "He beat her with the belt... Garrick bucked violently, but the cat held firm, its claws digging deeper. Fueled by instinct and fury, Garrick rolled, slamming the cat beneath his bulk. The impact knocked it loose with a winded yowl. Before it could recover, Garrick turned and snapped his powerful jaws down on its hind leg, biting deep until he felt bone. The second cat came to its packmate’s aid, pouncing with a feral snarl. Garrick twisted at the last second, letting the cat overshoot its mark before he drove his fangs into its exposed throat. He shook his head violently, and with a crunch, the cat went limp.

The two beasts clashed, each trying to dominate the other, their growls filling the air like thunder. Her mind struggled to process what was happening. The large creature—she couldn’t tell what it was at first—was defending her. Its dark fur shimmered under the moonlight as it used its massive body to shield her from the jaguar’s deadly claws. Catherine’s heart pounded in her chest as she watched, her breath caught in her throat. The battle was fierce, both animals snapping and snarling, their claws slashing through the air with deadly precision.

Three massive crocodiles sprawled at his feet. Back then, I'd run around like a rat, dragging my cats from hiding spot to hiding spot. Not anymore. Now I had guardians too. I straightened up and walked out, head high. "Need something?" Alan didn't even glance at me. His eyes locked on my cats. "I saw what happened upstairs. Your little mutts have some bite.
