Who did you piss off to end up like this, darling?" I slapped his hand away. "What do you think you're doing?" "What are we doing?" They laughed darkly. "We're just following orders and teaching you some manners." One of them grabbed my wrist. His hand slid up my forearm. The disgusting sensation made my skin crawl. "Don't touch me! Do you even know who I am? I saved the Wolf King’s life. I'm the Queen's sister!"

“Oh, gods…” Her breath was scorching hot. Every exhale washed over me like the air from a furnace. One careless movement from me and I would get burned, even one accidental bite and I would be dead. “Please don’t sneeze,” I whispered. The beast blinked one golden eye then, with another powerful roar her enormous wings spread. “Wings?” They unfurled like giant sails, black as midnight and edged with crimson veins. One powerful flap and the beast launched itself into the air. The crowd gasped.

My eyes were jet black with gray swirling vortex instead of white, and it looked as if I had storm clouds circling my pupil.
