Across the room, the Blackwood brothers held court—Caspian cool and commanding, Thane networking, Miguel and Liam laughing with sponsors, Hans fresh off a match win and surrounded by admirers. Georgia arrived alone, stunning in emerald, head high despite the whispers. Mr. Blackwood was conspicuously absent. Raheem was there too, across the ballroom with Zayn at his side—close, but not touching. They’d reconciled. The night started perfectly. Music pulsed, laughter echoed, cameras flashed. Then everything shattered. It began with the screens. The massive LED walls that usually displayed art installations flickered once, then went black. Gasps rippled through the crowd as people wondered what

Malakai's room had black walls, no surprise, grey and black furniture. The walls had a ombré effect, it's started from black at the top to grey to silver and white near the floor. There was a large double bed that had a cushioned grey headboard, and silk sheets. There were also double glass doors that led out to a balcony. And finally a walk in closet. The whole room screamed Malakai, it was just him. "I can just go home." Eden said but she'll admit, if she drove there was an 80% chance she'd crash. She was so tired.

Sure enough, it was gone. The image of him smiling at the clerk came to mind, along with the warm compliments about what a loving couple we were. That scene kept replaying in my head. I stood there in a daze, the bitterness in my chest slowly settling. I quietly told myself that maybe this was all just a one-sided crush on Serena's end. After dinner, Lucas suddenly set down his fork and said, "I have to work late tonight at the observatory. I need to observe a star that's quite rare."

"Stay close to me! We must find shelter!" We stumbled through the impenetrable darkness, our senses overwhelmed by the chaos unfolding around us. The familiar pathways of the Silverwood had become an inky labyrinth, disorienting and treacherous. As we raced against time, desperately seeking refuge from the encroaching darkness, a chilling realization dawned upon us. This was no ordinary disturbance. It was a force bent on thwarting our progress, a malevolent entity determined to keep the Silverwood's secrets buried in shadows. A surge of adrenaline propelled us forward, our instincts guiding us through the maze of darkness. But with each passing moment, the void seemed to tighten its grip, t

She had once been the feared Queen of Witches, until the werewolves destroyed everything she had built and left her to die. When she opened her eyes again, she was no longer a queen but a powerless werewolf. Stripped of her magic, her position, and the life she had once known, she was forced to survive among the very people responsible for her downfall. Then there was the man who had led the massacre. He claimed she was his mate and wanted her as his Luna. She would gladly accept it.

Bingo! The lights go out. I kick out my legs, jamming my foot into Lucien’s knee. He goes down with a grunt. The gun skitters out of his hand and I lunge for it, the darkness ebbing at my vision. I hear the ring of a thin blade drawn as fast as lightning, the sound of bodies dropping, and then the lights come back on, flooding the room. I gasp. Mom.

High in the sky, a thunder struck and the rains began to pour suddenly and violently, as though someone was persuading the rain from a powerful shrine. Ezeugo laid on the bamboo bed, listening to the sound of the rain droplets hitting the ground peevishly. His eyes moved to an old table, where a palm oil lamp rested. A cold breeze blew and the light vanished. Everywhere was dim.

he noted. ‎She said nothing. ‎Didn’t move. ‎Didn’t cry. ‎His lips curved faintly. ‎“Smart girl.” ‎For a brief moment, they simply looked at each other. ‎Then he reached into his pocket. ‎Pulled something out. ‎A card. ‎He flicked it lightly. ‎It landed at her feet. ‎Blackjack. ‎“Run,” he said casually. ‎And she did. ‎This time, she didn’t stop. ‎She ran into the darkness.

And then I hit the thing that makes everything else, even the photo, look like nothing. It's a photo of a card with girls’ names on it, the words "Brighton Bingo" running across the top. All of the names are blurred out, except for mine. Mine's right in the middle of the whole damn thing, with a star around it. Katherine Harrison. BJ- 50 points. Sex - 100 points. Anal - 200 points. Bareback - 500 points. No fucking way. I think I'm going to vomit, but I can't help but read on.

The next game was announced, and the guests shifted their focus to the large bingo board set up at the front of the room. The game was simple—play bingo, and the first guest to complete five bingos would win the SootheBot 3000, a futuristic cleaning robot. Guests grabbed their bingo cards eagerly, their eyes glued to the screen as the numbers were called. The excitement in the room grew as more and more guests marked off their spaces, the sound of people shouting "Bingo!" echoing throughout the room. Maria couldn’t help but laugh as the first winner—an older gentleman—stood up to claim his prize.
