I point to him, gesturing towards the back of the bingo hall. It takes us another ten minutes to get over there, but once we do, the loudness of the place has been cut in half. Over here, out of the way, it isn't nearly as bad as in the thick of everything. "We'll have to wait for the new game," I explain as we get our stuff set up. Glancing over at him, I notice he doesn't have his own dabber. "Do you want to use my blue one?" I hold it out to him, almost as if I'm offering him a sacred piece of a puzzle. "You sure?" he quirks an eyebrow at me. "These are lucky and all, what if some of the luck rubs off on me?"

Blackie comforted his host. However, before Noah could sigh in relief, Blackie added, “…before you screamed your husband’s name. Then pretty much everyone looked your way.” Noah, (눈_눈) “…can you NOT attempt to comfort me in the future? Thanks!” Blackie, “Oh? And here I was, just about to tell you a genuine bright side in all of this!” Noah, (≖_≖) “…There is a bright side?” Blackie, “Remember what you mentioned every proper bachelor party should have? Yep! Black history / Blackmail material! ✔Check! ” (☞ﾟ∀ﾟ)☞

Pushing the heavy glass pane open a fraction, I let the freezing night air rush across my face, cooling the feverish heat of my thoughts. The courtyard below was pitch black, illuminated only by the pale, ghostly glow of the moon. Snow flurries had started to drift down from the mountain peaks, dusting the cobblestones in a fine layer of white. "You're going to catch a chill, little human," a smooth, melodic voice whispered from the darkness right beside the window. My heart leapt into my throat. I spun around so fast my shoulder brushed against the stone wall.

🦪 DORA 🦪 “You have just signed a fight till death deal, where only one of the two players would get out of the ring alive… congratulations.” “There are three cards that signify different meanings. The BLACK card is the most common; it’s the one you get when you get invited to a fight. This BLACK card comes with a written letter, the time, and the location for your pickup, and at that exact time, you’ll be brought to the fighting ring where you’ll fight until one of you dies. After this fight, the sum of 50 million dollars is given to the winner in cash, alongside 50 investors’ 1-kilogram gold bar, which weighs about 32.15 troy ounces, with an approximate value of $130,000 - $140,000.”

It was on gold and I knew immediately that it had to do with life and death. I opened it, with my heart beating so fast. I read the address and instantly raised my head. " The Lunar Dominion Pack sent this?" I raised the letter up. " They did, and that's after we came to an agreement on how to end the war" the council leader said. I looked at it and began to read. It was a marriage proposal. What the hell was going on? " A blood marriage?" I raised my head and looked at them. " Yes, that's the only way to save our lives and cheat the curse that has been placed on us. We have to find a way to stop the war, and a blood marriage will be the best, witnessed by the Moon Goddess and done under the

It was almost as if it was a time line as we walked down the hall. I saw a sword. Many different people held the sword as we walked. Sometimes it was a person outlined in black light, which was strange to see black light. It was not like the UV purple light that they called black light in the clubs. This was inky dark light. Almost like paint, but reflected as light. My physics brain couldn't wrap itself around the concept, and yet here it was right in front of me.

The streetlamps in the parking lot fizzle and go black. Total, absolute darkness swallows the pier. "What the—" Nikos screams. "Now!" Drakon’s voice roars from the darkness behind me. I drop to the ground. It’s part of the plan. Drop and roll. Gunfire erupts. It’s blinding in the pitch black. Muzzle flashes strobe like lightning, illuminating snapshots of chaos. I see Drakon charging. I see Reapers spinning in circles, firing blindly. I see Nikos scrambling backward, tripping over his own feet.

Just raw walls and open gaps. The moment he stepped up— The air vanished. Complete silence. An unnatural silence. Then he saw it— A black door in the middle of the floor. It wasn’t mentioned in any records. A number was written on it— 413 But the mall only had shops up to 412. Room 413 didn’t exist. The door was slightly open. Inside — darkness so thick the flashlight couldn’t pierce it. Aarav gently pushed the door. It creaked. And then—
