The space was so effortlessly masculine that I could imagine he was in it if I closed my eyes, and no detail escaped me, from the leather and wood furnishings, to the books on the wall and a stocked bar at the far wall that looked like it hadn’t been touched in sometime.
On his desk, a huge piece of paper sat unfurled, and even though I knew I was snooping I couldn’t help myself. I glided over, going to stand on the side of Hector’s desk that he usually sat on to have a better view of it.
