A shadow on my left moves quick, the light not brightening his skin until he snatches Blade's malicious pointer. Blade shrieks as Seth bends his finger back and shoves him off his feet. I grab Seth by the elbow and clench his arm to my body. Fury wafts off him in waves, making my flesh buzz. Groaning, Blade picks himself off the ground and grass stains have ruined his shirt beyond repair. Swiping a hand over his face, Blade grumbles, cursing under his breath as he scoops up his bottle and storms out of the yard and into the street, leaving his blazer by the stairs.

He swiped my hands away, trying to cover his face. "That's enough!" His voice rose as he simultaneously raised his hand and slapped me hard across the face. My face whipped to the side, my cheek screaming in pain, as my hands paused their attack at the strike of pain. Drake undid my pants and lifted off of me to pull them down. I snapped back to the fight and, without his weight upon me, used the opportunity to scramble from beneath him. I didn't need my stupid pants. I needed the gun. She was obviously young, probably fourteen or fifteen with red hair and a round hazel eyes which peered at me through the glass of the coffee shop.
