"I won't let go." Rhydian smiled through the blood on his lips. "You never have to." The Twin Blades merged into one brilliant white sword. Its light pierced the heavens. The King of the Void looked at the weapon. For the first time... It took a single step backward. "You forged..." Its voice carried something unfamiliar. "...the Blade of Beginning." The Creator smiled. "No. They did." The white blade released a pulse of light that spread across the collapsing world. Dead trees bloomed. Broken stone became green with life. The frightened Gatekeepers felt hope returning to their hearts. Even the widening crack in the sky stopped growing.

I can feel his rage, his protective fury, as if it's my own. And then he's there. He materializes from the shadows like something born from nightmare—tall and broad-shouldered, dressed in dark leather and a long coat that seems to be woven from smoke itself. His face is partially hidden by a black mask that covers the lower half, leaving only his eyes visible. Those eyes. Silver and burning with an unholy light. The soldiers freeze, and I hear one of them choke out a single word. "Bloodwraith." Kael doesn't speak. He just moves.

He then said, and I knew it had to be Kylee’s father’s blood on the blade. “Whatever they were up against all those years ago, had to have been powerful, if they coated the blade with demon’s blood.” Alexandra said and I began to wonder if this thing they had been fighting all those years ago was the Dark Goddess, and she remain locked here in this house alone in limbo, with no one to feed on until Natasha and Brianna decided to stay here after Kero’s death. “Is it possible that it was the Dark Goddess all those years ago too? Kylee told me that she was forced to leave here not even able to take anything with her.” I told them, and Christopher finally lowered the dagger looking at me.

Yet the two men were too small, and it was not long before the bloody wave swallowed them and continued to rush towards Wilbur and Augheimer. Wilbur waved the Magic Dragon Blade in his grasp, casting an attack. A powerful sword aura swept the bloody wave at once, and all the soldiers that had been formed were killed. The Blood God frowned. "Could these two guys have regained their memory?" Just then, the God of Destruction said, "Let me do it. These two little buggers can go to hell."

A low growl erupts from my throat, which makes the Blood God glance at me. “Moon Goddess vessel. Welcome,” he says. “Just stay there and watch.” And soon Bryer’s corpse starts to move erratically. The white in his eyes turns black. The blood in his veins pulsates, and then he throws up black blood. He crawls to the Blood God’s feet and kisses it. “Please, no more,” he pleads. “I don’t want to die anymore. Don’t kill me again.” The Blood God kneels before him and says, “You need to die a hundred or a thousand times more, just so you will get familiar with the feeling of death. In that way, you can call up the dead and make them do your bidding.”

The blade glowed faintly with divine energy. The Moon Goddess’s instructions had been clear and simple, to sever my power from the bombs, I had to offer a part of myself in return. A blood sacrifice. I took a deep breath and raised the dagger to my palm. The moment the blade touched my skin, the air around me crackled with energy. I dragged the tip of the dagger across my palm, hissing slightly at the pain and watched as warm blood came out of the cut and dripped onto the runes. The moment my blood hit the symbols, the entire Lightforge hummed with power.
