CHAPTER FIFTEEN. It was a bloody night. Zain Adolphus had spent nights in the woods, waging war against the rogues. He invaded their town and ripped apart each one of them he came across. The rogues could not stand the war he waged single handedly. There was blood in his eyes. He howled angrily at the universe. Looking around him, he discovered all the rogues in that town were dead. The surviving ones fled town. "Moon goddess!!" Zain yelled, slapping his cheeks hard that his hands burned. "She cannot be my mate, I reject her. She is too weak, I cannot and will never marry her. You have to do something about this."

Blood spilled, black as ink, and the ground shivered beneath us. I stare at my glass, twirling it until it catches the light and casts rainbows in my eyes. Maybe I was wrong. Perhaps I am drunk. At least a little.
