the last part came out with seething anger. "Enough!" Beta Blaine's voice erupted, "Run it off, Grace." He demanded in his beta tone and even if I wanted to resist I couldn't. Even though Silas held an Alpha title, it was far easier to disobey him. "Yes, beta Blaine." I glared at Silas and his sister before taking off into the forest. I didn't shift, finding myself not in the mood to strip out of my clothes. It didn't take too long until I heard the cracking of twigs behind me. He tried to be silent, but his big built made that difficult.

Matthew tried to say it in the calmest manner as to not provoke Salj. Salj really appeared to explode for a second. He exhaled roughly through his nose. “Hah… Layla, why did you have to make business so hard for me?” He mumbled under his breath. “Tell me further about your ‘plan’. I’ll decide later.” For a brief moment, Matthew felt relieved. He actually didn't expect that to work. “I’m planning to go to Blackwood Mountain.” He told him straight. Salj was even more surprised than when he touched Matthew’s sword. “What rank are you?” Salj asked but he already knew the answer when he looked at Matthew’s tag. “Rookie? You are either stupid or crazy.”

The two brothers stood facing each other, their bodies battered and bloodied from the long and brutal fight. Dane glared at Dash, not buying his bullshit of a sorry. “Blood doesn’t make someone family.” Dane declared. “I hope you find the life you were looking for.” he paused. “In hell.” With a final, desperate lunge, Dash charged at Dane, his claws emerging, aimed at him. Dane saw the attack coming and sidestepped, bringing a silver blade from his side, and jammed it down into a swift, decisive strike. Dash’s eyes widened in shock as the silver blade pierced his chest, sinking deep into his heart. He let out a strangled cry, his body convulsing as he fell to the floor.

I'm one of the best warriors and you know it. He messed with my sister and our pack, I am not going to stand around with arms crossed Blake. I'm going." she says turning and leaving as she swings her rifle over her shoulder. "Was that... The new M16 assault rifle she carrying?" I asked, impressed by her choice of weapon. Alpha Blake smiles proudly, nodding his head as she walks away.

A stunning young woman huffs, folding her arms across her chest, looking at the three of us most unpleasantly. “I’m...” I start to say, but she holds out her hand, making me close my mouth quickly. “I know who you are.” She narrows her eyes at the three of us. “I know who all of you are, Luna Ashleigh Blackwood, Beta Daniel Richmond, and Gamma Eric Stephans. You are all a long way from home.”
