Blaze of Darkness!

Blaze of Darkness!

"I have a final exam today, I need to go out." She declared. "Of course, go and do your best!" He had no choice but to do as she pleased. "Mira, but please hide bruises on your face with makeup, it's not looking good..." He brought her makeup from her room and forced her to hide her bruises. Mira got up and grabbed her bag which was still laying on the floor since last night. She opened the drawer and placed his lighter and cigarette on the counter, knowing he will use it sooner or later.

This was such a refreshing read! Strong FL paired with a dreamy twisted ML, blending everything you'd want in a dark romance trope. I loved her unwavering dignity and Damon’s supportive role. The flow, the language, everything's so flawless. Surprised, your work is so underrated! A must-read!

THE DEVIL'S MISTRESS

THE DEVIL'S MISTRESS

she said, slipping them into my palm. I let out a small laugh. “Both of them?” She nodded, told me to pick one—time was short, something like that. I chose the smaller box, flipped the lid, and froze. A lighter. Sleek, silver, clean design. New model. But what shook me was the engraving—R & N. I couldn’t stop the smile that tugged at my lips. But then again, it burned in a strange way too. I kept pressing her about the lighter, and she looked ready to strangle me for it. Then a knock saved us both. An attendant bowed in the doorway.

The Last Light in the Dark

The Last Light in the Dark

"There are no what-ifs. Just like the stars… Once they choose their path, their orbits are set. They'll never cross paths again." Lucas stared at me in stunned silence. Pain and regret welled in his eyes as a faint glint of tears formed in the corners. But in the end, he said nothing. I quietly closed the box. Then, I turned and walked away. … After returning to our home country, Lucas was convicted of intentional assault and sentenced. All the stars he had once named were revoked from official records, except one. It was the star he named "LAW" the year he proposed.

Claimed By The Alpha Biker

Blaze’s fingers curled. “You idiot,” I hissed under my breath. Caleb held up his hands immediately. “Not an insult! I swear. Just… curiosity. You almost vaporized Sheila with your eyeballs earlier. A guy’s gotta ask.” “I will literally strangle you in your sleep,” I muttered. For a moment, Blaze didn’t react. He just stared into the fire. The flames danced across his eyes, reflecting something old… and tired. Then he exhaled. Long. Heavy. “I’m what your people call a Lycan.”

Pregnant by My Dead Husband's Best Friend

And he’s bringing the knife. I need a distraction. I need chaos. I scan the room. Books. Paperweights. A humidor. My eyes land on the desk. Sitting next to a crystal ashtray is a silver Zippo lighter. Kyros must have left it. A careless mistake from a man who thinks he’s untouchable. I grab it. The metal is cool, heavy. I flick the lid. Clink. I strike the flint. A yellow flame dances into life. "Fire," I whisper.

Best Buddy

Best Buddy

The man in the apron casually reached into his pocket, pulled out a cigarette case, slid a stick between his fingers, and tucked the case away again, as if death wasn’t staring him in the face. Matthew’s jaw nearly dropped. Is this man insane? The stranger glanced over his shoulder. “Got a lighter?” Matthew stared at him in disbelief again. He can't ever count how many times he looks at this man confusedly or in disbelief. He still has the nerve to smoke?! This guy is so fucking unbelievable. Yet somehow—despite the chaos, despite the guns, despite the fact that he might die in the next five seconds—Matthew found himself fumbling through his pockets. His fingers closed around cold metal. Forbidden By Her Mafia Stepbrother

Forbidden By Her Mafia Stepbrother

"What... what are you doing?" Sebastian reached into his trousers and pulled out a silver lighter. He flicked it open. A small, bright flame sparked to life, casting dancing shadows over his sharp features. "Are you crazy?" she gasped, panic flooding her chest. "Stop!" He didn't blink. He just dropped the lit lighter straight onto the soaked fabric. The whiskey caught instantly. A burst of orange fire erupted, crackling loudly as it began to devour thousands of dollars worth of silk right in the middle of his bedroom.

Say You Won't Let Go

Say You Won't Let Go

They all enter the room and the last guy shuts the door behind them. I peek into the room as discreetly as I can, seeing the guys sitting on stools as one of them opens his backpack and retrieves lighters along with a box of cigarettes. They all take a cigarette, except Blake whose eyes just wander around the room. The bell rings and I shake my head before starting off to class.

Fated to My Sister's Mate

Fated to My Sister's Mate

I remembered, coming back to reality, " You..you shouldn't take such a risk, Blaze. My guards will tell Torvar if they see you here with me. Please..go now.." Blaze seemed reluctant to leave me. The affection in his eyes purred my wolf subconsciously. We both had been yearning for this warmth for a long time. Blaze took out something from his pocket. Shiny papers sparkled in his hands as he passed it to me to tell softly, " Your favorite candies! I brought them for you in case I get the chance to give it to you."

I can’t believe the hate he has for her.. and I can’t believe she is sticking around for the torture . Great storyline but chapter 26-31 are repeat . And few chapters prior are from another book . Hope you can fix that ! Hope she just leave him soon ..
A
Book started out ok but around chapter 50 the book makes zero sense. Names change, nationality of packs change… the author needs to outline the book better and fix it. Not reading the book further and paying for such poor editing/writing.
