Bleach: Shattered Blade Novels & Stories

Blade came out with his usual all black clothing—a big black sweatshirt, a black baggy jean, black glasses, black face cap, black sneakers— and a revolver carefully tucked by his side. To my shock, the passenger door opened and a girl came out. She was obviously young, probably fourteen or fifteen with red hair and a round hazel eyes which peered at me through the glass of the coffee shop. I couldn’t help but wonder who she was and why Blade had decided to bring her along. They both shared words before walking towards the coffee shop. “Emily!” Blade called as he walked inside with his companion right behind him. “I’m right here,” I said waving my hands in the air to draw his attention.

It looked dangerous… sacred… and strangely familiar. “The Blade of Tenebris,” I murmured, recalling the words I’d once tried so hard to forget. “It cuts not flesh, but spirit. A single strike leaves enemies hollow, their will severed. It was quenched in the Void during the First Apex War. Every wielder leaves behind a fragment of their soul.”

“Let’s do this.” We staged the scene in an old club Michael used to own—a place no one would think to check until it was too late. The air inside was thick with dust, the scent of decay lingering in the walls. Broken glass littered the floor, crunching under my boots as I moved. Michael lay on the cold concrete, his shirt stained with fake blood, his breathing shallow. He looked dead. Too dead. I stood over him, my hands shaking, my breath coming in short gasps.

She hung up the phone angrily. "Ten assassins couldn’t kill the crippled." It's just been two years since he covered it. How strong are his legs that he was able to beat the top assassins? Does that make sense? Benjamin, oh. Benjamin, how many more times can you stand my wrath? You are just lucky. Let's see if you will be lucky tomorrow." She smirked evilly.

"Bleach was never a pawn in this game. It is unstable and relentless, do well to remember we can not make an enemy out of it." The girl smirked. "Do not be foolish, we already did when we chose to pursue that artifact….. My love."

" You are no match for me, and could barely stand on your feet, I have to say I am greatly disappointed as I expected more fights from you. " " Well, I am not dead yet, you mother fucker, " Shelby hurled at the guy and ran towards him but before she was few inches from him they heard the wailing sound of an approaching siren. " Until next time, " Blade said and disappeared before Shelby could blink. She staggered on her feet as her vision began to swim, she tried to clear it to make her escape but a dizzy feeling caught her sending her tumbling towards the ground until she was caught by someone. I got you, she heard just before she succumb to the grips of darkness.

He locks both of the silhouette’s arms on his thigh and took over in my stead to lock its leg with his hands. I hurriedly took the sheathed black sword that was on the ground. The silhouette struggles as much as it could, but it can’t seem to get out. “Hah!” I cladded my sheathed sword with ‘Offensive Cladding’— hammering it downwards to its head. BAM!!! Blaze’s silhouette immediately breaks down to black ashes. C-CRIK! This sound… Kuroyuki’s ice is breaking…!?

Seizing the opportunity, his opponent had executed a maneuver that combined both finesse and raw power. With a final, decisive blow, he had struck Blade’s sword with a force that shattered the weapon into pieces. The clang of metal against metal reverberated through the arena, a sound that marked the turning point of the duel. Blade staggered, his eyes wide with shock and disbelief as he felt the weight of defeat settle upon him. The crowd, once roaring with the anticipation of Blade’s victory, fell into a stunned silence. Murmurs of awe and admiration rippled through the spectators as they processed the unexpected outcome.

’ Noah’s eyes narrowed, briefly flashing with a cold gleam ‘…a reverse Soothing? Just like high ranked Shielders with proficient control of their powers could reverse their shields, so could Soothers reverse their soothing. A reverse soothing could directly cause everything that it was supposed to fix. In fact, that was exactly how Aris had originally knocked out the Blazer. He had turned his mental healing into a mental attack. If the man’s chaotic mental power was a work of a Soother, it would explain why the Blazer was unable to regain his wits, devolving into a wild beast until his mental state was on the brink of a total collapse.
