I felt a liquid splash on my face, cold and shocking, which made me jolt up, a sharp gasp tearing from my throat. My eyes flew open, blinking rapidly as I stared around, trying to figure out where I was. But unbeknownst to me, some of the liquid had splashed into my eyes and mouth. Oh, it was alcohol. The smell, sharp and biting, hit me first, then the burning. "Dear Lord, my eyes!" I shouted, my voice a raw, desperate cry as I instinctively scratched at my eyes.

I grabbed the brush with shaking hands, nearly dropped it because my fingers wouldn't work properly. I poured bleach directly onto the stone where the dark stain spread. Copd water started streaking out and I splashed some of it on my face. I washed it for a while before I raised my head back up to stare at my reflection in the mirror. My eyes remained fixed on the mirror’s gaze as I removed my gaze from the mirror and turned it back on my finger. It'd stop bleeding. Great. I just have to apply just the right amount of pleasure to get the splint of wood out of it. I reached into the sink and started pressing hard on my finger.

It would all be gone as time goes on, but the damage would stay for a while.
