ANIKA'S POV:- I lazily stretched my muscles and snuggled closer to the hard pillow I was hugging. I inhaled the sweet scent that was on that pillow. The scent was so delicious that it started tickling the insides of my stomach. It was really unusual as not even the aroma of my favorite food ever tickled the insides of my stomach. The pillow was hard but the fabric was so soft. I rubbed the tip of my nose with the pillow. Then I rubbed my right cheek with the pillow. It was so warm and smelled so good. I just could not help but snuggle even closer to the pillow and rub my cheek on it.

He whispered bringing him closer to his chest. “He’s hungry. Again.” Katherine said in disbelief. “Just like his father.” Richard chuckled and gave him to Katherine who wore an elastic dress, easily removable for breastfeeding. She placed the baby in front of her breast and Richard grabbed a pillow to rest him on. The soft sounds of swallowing made them both melt. They had created this miracle.

She had dragged our matrass to the living room, got a bunch of pillows from god knows where, and placed them everywhere. How many pillows does this woman have? Still, exhaustion isn’t enough to get us off to dreamland when getting Ella comfortable enough to rest is a nightly struggle. The nest is a blessing, as the incredible abundance of pillows surrounding her on all sides can easily be shifted and fluffed to perfectly cradle her precious form – the difficulty is figuring out where I fit into the cozy retreat. Most of the time Ella just treats me as an extra large body pillow. More than once, I’ve woken in the middle of the night to find her sneakily trying to rearrange my limbs to her liking.
