After The Divorce: Ex-husband's Regret

After The Divorce: Ex-husband's Regret

She watched him for a second longer, her gaze searching his face one last time, as though trying to find something worth holding onto. Whatever she was looking for, she didn’t find it. “You will regret this,” she said. She turned before anyone could respond, her steps quick and decisive as she walked out. The door slammed this time. The sound echoed through the office, leaving something fractured in its wake. Silence followed. Matthew stood there for a moment, unmoving, his chest rising and falling a little faster than before. Then his hand came down hard against the table. The sharp crack of it broke through the quiet.

Queen Of Ace

Queen Of Ace

he answered, stoically. Though I knew we had broken up, the pain was still inevitable, the wound in my heart was still fresh, and my mind couldn't get rid of the thought of him. My head was swarmed with regrets, and there was a sudden pit in my stomach. The pain felt worse than Lindsey's betrayal, and it was unrestrained. Swallowing, I tried to calm the jealousy gushing through me and kept myself collected. "We've broken up," I managed to utter, darting a look at Emma.

Mated in the Hatred of Alpha King

Mated in the Hatred of Alpha King

But every time I repeated the lie, it cracked a little more. I’d seen the truth in her eyes when she’d looked at me. It wasn’t manipulation. It wasn’t pity. It was grief. I’d shattered it anyway. I drank until the bottle ran dry, until my vision blurred and Norman’s voice faded into static. When the glass slipped from my fingers and shattered on the floor, I didn’t bother to move. The shards glittered in the lamplight, sharp and perfect, just like her. For the first time in years, I felt something dangerously close to regret.

My Ex-Fiancé's Regret

My Ex-Fiancé's Regret

“You don’t get to demand a place in our lives just because you feel guilty now. Guilt isn’t love, Alex. And I won’t let my son be a casualty of your regrets.” His expression shattered, but she didn’t let herself care. Not this time. “Goodbye, Alex.” And with that, she walked past him, leaving him standing in the shadows of the life he had lost. "I know I could have handled things better, and I deeply regret not being smarter about it. I also knew there was a chance that Jasper was mine, but fear made me turn a blind eye to the possibility. It was selfish and easier to believe you had an affair with someone else.

Regret After Divorce

Regret After Divorce

“The old me was single-minded about stabilizing WS Group, obsessed with expanding it as quickly as possible. I wanted to prove myself to those founding shareholders who looked down on me and silence all the doubters. I admit, I was too competitive back then. My eyes were fixed only on the company and work, neglecting the person I should have cherished most… you.” “Truthfully, I think the old you was outstanding in every aspect except as a husband,” I said sincerely. “So don’t let our failed marriage make you dismiss everything else about yourself.” He smiled wryly. “Scarlett, you don’t need to comfort me. Back then I was either emotionally clueless or just too self-centered. Now I regret it.

When He Found Me

When He Found Me

"You’re going to regret this, Lucas. Mark my words. You’re pushing away the one person who could really love you for who you are." I turned away from him, my jaw clenched so tight I thought my teeth might crack. "Maybe I am, Blake. Maybe I am," I said, my voice barely more than a whisper. "But at least I’m not setting myself up to be broken again." Blake stood there, the disappointment in his eyes cutting deeper than I wanted to admit. He didn’t say another word as he turned and walked away, leaving me alone with my thoughts, my doubts, and the echo of every hope I had just shattered.

They Regretted Blaming Me After I Died

They Regretted Blaming Me After I Died

When I was five, my elder sister, Mabel, lost the use of both legs saving me in a car accident. From that day on, there was one thing my parents said to me more than anything else. “You ruined Mabel’s life.” When I got into a top university, Mabel locked herself in her room and cried all night. My mother, eyes red from crying, tore my acceptance letter to pieces. “Wait until Mabel can walk again. Then you can go to college.” So I spent sixteen hours a day delivering food, saving every penny for Mabel’s rehabilitation. When my stomach pain became so bad I could barely stand, my parents accused me of being jealous of Mabel’s nutritional supplements and faking it for attention. I secret

Ex-husband’s Regret

Ex-husband’s Regret

Waiting for him to come home at night, and waking up in the morning to see him sleeping beside me—this sense of happiness once deeply ensnared me. It was just that once the illusion was shattered, there was no going back. I even felt how foolish I was back then. A wave of bitterness surged from the depths of my heart. I turned my head slightly, sniffed, and didn't continue the conversation. I didn't know what else I could say. Should I pity myself or take the opportunity to scold him?

"I understand, and you don't have to apologise to me. I'm just sorry and ashamed that I didn't have the courage to act like you," Andien said quietly.
