She didn’t respond, just kept looking around as though trying to understand. A goblin waddled into the room, carrying a wooden pail of water in his hands, his stubby fingers gripping the handle in a white-knuckled grasp as he heaved with the weight. He paced slowly, carefully, the big pointed ears of his head twitching. Celeste turned her head. Her eyes turned to the goblin. And she screamed. A bloodcurdling scream that could raise the dead. The goblin dropped the pail, startled, and yelped. Water slopped over the floor, wetting the wooden planks.

Arlen could not comprehend what was going on until his eyes opened and he saw four green-looking faces staring down at him. These were goblins- unsightly creatures formed from cultivational practices gone wrong. Despite their lack of good height, they did not pass at being cruel. They used to be common in Cloverdale, where they would steal children and the elderly. Standing on two feet like humans, they had shapeshifting abilities they used to lure their victims. Arlen could barely breathe as a three-foot-long tongue drooled beside him. "Hold him down. I'll get the knife," a voice he could liken to that of the innkeeper spoke.

She walked slowly into the throne room, but Damien's eyesight landed on her the moment she stepped into the throne room. "My Princess here's....." This particular one was old-man-thin with sagging, jaundiced skin and bulging, cloudy, blue eyes. Eyes which he set on us with shocked glee. Goblins have short fangs and claws, and their skin is tinged in green variations depending on the areas they are from and have facial tattoos of complex lines lining their jaw or sometimes one side of their face depending on their strength. They were midway across the path, in front of a cemetery when suddenly graves started opening. "What is going on?" Isabella asked, clutching onto Chris tightly. Chris was suddenly sweating so furiously but Ariel was cool and her face was blank and devoid of any emotions. They stood there watching six tombs open and six scary-looking ghosts walked out. Isabella was already whitish in appearance knowing who they are. Chris's hairs were all up and his eyes green, his normal sight nature. "GREETINGS TO THE SPECIAL ONE." One of them muttered. "GREETINGS TO THE LITTLE GODDESS." Another muttered.

I wish it was poisoned. The goblin was transparent with rubies crafted in it, it contained a red content that had a slight purplish in color when moved. I can bet that isn't any ordinary wine. I shivers slightly before glancing down at the food in front of me sniffing out to know if it was poisoned or had any of that nasty stuff in it.
