It gives off a very sweet smell that can make a vampire lose his senses. Good thing I can control myself very well. She looked back at me, “Ah! Sorry… The cutter slipped out of my hand when I was trying to cut the sticks… But I put the band-aid on immediately!” I walked to her and crouched, “Good work.” I softly patted her head, “Be careful next time.”

Night had fallen when the maids of the Gothic palace had the body of the breeder that had her blood consumed thoroughly cleaned and placed in a sack awaiting Darian Stormrider's orders. As per the norm, he would journey out at night and go meet his spies from the Werewolf realm and give them the body. Even though they were humans too, that didn't bother them anymore as they were not in the same rank as the breeders. They preyed on it. Vampires consumed blood while the werewolves fed on the body, and as a fee for them helping him out as his spies and take tellers from the adversaries kingdom, he always brought the dead body of whatever breeder that had their blood consumed to them.

I grabbed the hem of Felix's shirt, fixed a pitiful expression on my face, and mumbled, "I believe you, Felix." Felix's expression softened as he helped me back to my feet. Taking advantage of the fact that the other wolves' attention was still on us, I retrieved a document from my bag and handed it to Felix. "I accidentally recorded your pup's blood type as AB when I registered his information last time. The truth is, his blood type is O." Felix's face twisted as he snatched the document from me. An eerie silence descended upon the hall. Everyone knew that all the wolves of the Blackrock pack had type-AB blood, making it impossible for a pup with type-O blood to exist in the pack.

assemble. A giant hand made of jagged ice slammed onto the ground. Then a torso. Then a head, faceless and smooth, save for two glowing blue cracks for eyes. It stood twelve feet tall. A Golem of pure permafrost. The Beast that does not bleed. "Get back!" Killian roared, shoving me behind a pillar of rock. The Golem turned its massive head toward us. It opened its mouth—a cavern of sharp icicles—and let out a sound that wasn't a roar, but the screech of grinding glaciers.

Looking in the direction of the door, she realized what his lord was referring to. A large burly figure of eight feet stared at them. It was a mass of throbbing muscles. An amalgam of parts joined by a rudimentary sewing technique. It was a Golen of Flesh. A meat golem was a macabre collection of body parts from different humanoids, united in a single composite form. Its cadaverous flesh had a pale yellowish green hue. He was wearing ragged pants. He had no weapons in sight, but he didn't need them as he possessed powerful fists.

An arm the size of a support beam, arcing toward me with the weight of a collapsing building. I didn't dodge. I stepped forward. Into the swing. Into the shadow of the golem's massive fist. The dual bloodlines roared through me. Silver moonlight poured from my left hand, piercing the golem's arm at the joint, dissolving the bindings that held stone to stone. The arm crumbled mid swing, raining debris. Crimson shadow erupted from my right, a concentrated lance that punched through the golem's torso, detonating inside, blowing the entire construct apart from within.
