"One, two, three.." I pulled again, tearing another small fraction off. I stared down at the small portion of the cut, seeing a sort of liquid-like puss seep out to greet me. I bit my inner lip as I kept a straight face, trying to withstand the burning sensation that ran through my thigh. But even with my face lacking any sign of pain, I couldn't hold back the tear that had escaped and rolled down my cheek. The pain was excruciating, yet I hadn't even torn off all of the bandage. For the most part, I had only tore off about one-third of it.

Tears sting my already bloodshot eyes. "Xavier." I say, trying to gain enough strength to at least sit up. I solider through the excruciating pain and sit up, and somehow manage to stand. I lean on my car hood. I grab out my phone, it has a new crack that starts at the bottom of the screen and goes right through to the top. I turn the flashlight on. It brightens only a section around me. My eyesight is still blurry. I see a red pool of my blood on the ground, it looks disgusting. It scares me, if that much blood came out of me, what the hell do I look like?

The room was filled with an intense silence, broken only by the echoes of his heavy panting. He stared at the bloodied knuckles, his mind drifted to her. The girl with those mesmerizing brown orbs, brimming with tears. He could see the pain and shattered trust reflected in her eyes, like a broken mirror reflecting a fractured soul. It was as if he could glimpse the depths of her hurt and betrayal, all encapsulated within those tear-filled eyes.

Now, only Roger remained, shaking uncontrollably as he sat in a puddle of his own urine. "I never hurt her! I swear I didn't hurt her…" At that moment, Tyler came rushing back with a doctor. The doctor quickly examined me, his face turning grim. "Her mouth is a mess—her gums and tongue are shredded, and her whole face is swollen. Whoever did this went way too far!" Seeing Margaret's expression grow darker, Tyler immediately pointed at Roger. "It was him! During our video call, he shoved a stick into her mouth when he wanted to show her to me!"

My teeth sank deep through the fabric of her torn outfit drawing blood so deep that I winced. “Agrhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh”

The harsh words echoed through the empty room. On the seventh loop, as the small screen lit up her face, something caught his eye. Adrian paused the video, bringing the phone inches from his face. Right along the side of her hairline, half-hidden by her dark hair, was a jagged crack in her skin, a fresh, dark red mark. His eyes narrowed. He zoomed in closer. Her lips were slightly swollen, and her eyes weren't just cold, they were wide, fixed on a single spot off-camera, as if someone was standing right beside the lens.

Tears formed at the corners of my eyes and I blinked, I felt waves of pain, rage and anger course through me. Slowly, I moved my hand away from my face as tears spilt down my cheeks. I exhaled, blinked once more and heard a faint click from under the table. As I turned, I saw a blue light shine through a crack in the table. I wiped the tears from my face and bent down to stare at a compartment that was neatly tucked in the corner of the table. I chuckled and swatted at the fresh batch of tears that started to roll down one cheek, I pressed a finger in between the crack and it fell open. The hole revealed a compartment which held a blue scroll that glowed brightly.

Tesot bellowed in a savage rage. It was hard. Her world was breaking apart. She walked out of the house and when she had made a few steps she turned and gazed about the two houses that for the last three years she had thought of as her permanent home. Now she was being forced to give it up. Tears sprang to her eyes, slowly snaking down her cheeks; tears of agony. She could not fight them back. She let them flow. She did not want to leave. A tremendous bond held her to the place. Breaking it was so agonizing. She took a handkerchief to wipe the tears off her cheeks.
