Then, without a single second of hesitation, I drew a silver combat dagger from my thigh holster. I flipped the blade and dragged the razor-sharp edge directly across my own left palm. I hissed as the skin parted, dark crimson welling up and spilling over my lifeline in a thick, hot rush. My blood wasn't ordinary. It was saturated with the intense, hyper-concentrated botanical immunities I had methodically, painfully built up over a decade of cultivating the most lethal gardens in the territory. It was a living, breathing archive of pure antidotes. I quickly drew my own blood into the syringe, aggressively plunging it into a small glass beaker filled with the clear, high-potency stimulant.

Just me, silence, and a truth I couldn’t outrun. The blade was where I’d left it. Carefully hidden beneath a false floor tile and shrouded with cloth enchanted to dampen aura bleed. It wasn’t a standard weapon. This one had been gifted to me after the hybrid trials. Blood-forged. Custom-coded to react to the specific fingerprint of my aura signature. One of the only things that still felt real when the rest of my memories seemed to come and go like smoke.

I didn’t even blink. My hands moved to the twin blades at my sides—obsidian-forged, curved, deadly. I’d carved the hilts with my own blood the night before I came here. I didn’t name them. They weren’t sacred. They were efficient. The beast let out a roar that shook the arena. Dust spilled from the balconies. I heard nobles flinch. Someone screamed. I ran straight toward it. No hesitation. No waiting for orders. Let the vampires see this clearly.

After fusing a Rank 2 male zombie and a Rank 2 female zombie. Lucas wanted to fuse Biggy and Scarlet into Rank 4 Zombies as soon as possible. Ding… "Congratulations, the host has obtained a random treasure chest. Does the host want to open it up?" "Open it." "You have obtained x10 steel sabers." Lucas was disappointed. What use would he have for steel sabers? They were not entirely useless, though. He could fuse them with the Dragon Slaying Saber. Therefore, he fused ten steel sabers into Dragon Slaying Saber.

“Kael touched you once, and you carry the imprint of it like a brand. That's not a normal bond response.” “I didn’t choose it,” I repeated. “But it’s real. They all felt it.” His jaw clenched. “That’s what I’m afraid of.” He finally opened the box. Inside was a small obsidian dagger. Ornate, ancient, and glowing faintly along the blade. I took a step back. “This is a Soul-Cleaver,” he said calmly. “Forged during the old wars. Cuts the soul-bond thread between mates. Kills the connection without killing the person.”

He took Damian’s hand and pulled him up. "But you still leave your left side open," Damian noted, tapping Leo’s ribs. "I'm working on it," Leo smiled. THE ARMORY We geared up. The Sanctuary Guard wasn't a ragtag militia anymore. Thanks to Seraphina’s funding and Ironclaw’s logistics, they were a modern army. Matte black armor woven with carbon nanotubes and silver thread. Assault rifles modified to fire depleted uranium rounds (for armor piercing) and hollow points filled with wolfsbane (for rogues). But for the Hollow Men, we needed something else. "Bone," Silas said, walking into the armory with a crate. "If they are anti-magic, metal might conduct their Null field. We go primitive." He op

"What do you require from the forge today?" "I need lightweight obsidian blades," I said, walking over to the metal racks and pointing directly to a sheet of dark, refined glass-metal resting near the back. "Forge two light daggers tailored specifically for a human fighter's smaller hand. Design them for maximum speed, sharp leverage, and close-quarters defense." "Obsidian is a dangerously brittle and difficult material to balance for a non-shifter, my Lord," the blacksmith noted, examining the dark sheet carefully. "However, if I temper it with silver alloy, I can make them absolute perfection for her."

The male doesn't even realize he's doing it, getting comfortable with us. Ransom finishes tightening the final bracket and steps back from the workbench. “There.” He wipes soot from his hands and motions me forward. “Come on. Let's see if these fit.” I move toward him looking at his work up close. The claw blades are impressive. Curved steel extensions designed to fit over a shifter's natural claws. I didn't know what to expect but it wasn't this. The style will fit seamlessly into our style and fighting techniques making it each to incorporate our new advantage into what we already know.

Iron Fangs has had a long-standing weapon exchange with five packs", she said. She flipped the pages quickly. "Rave stream, Frostbloom, Granite Spine, Hollow Shade, and Bloodhound". "Ravenstream is too far", I said. "Exactly. And Frostbloom's forges freeze every other month. Granite Spine's metals are too brittle for our needs. Hollow Shade...you do not want to owe them favours". She tapped a nail on the last name. "Which leaves Bloodhound". I frowned. "Bloodhound? They specialize in specialized weapons, not mass military supplies".

My bloodlust is hardly impressed by streaks from a head bash. C put his shaky hands out first, on the wooden slab right in front of both of them, taking a deep breath because he'd seen this scene too many times to know what comes next. I bet he never thought he’d ever be on the receiving end. Which he shouldn’t be, but he let his stupidity overtake his fear of me. With a nod of my head, I pick up the white surgical gloves on the table between them and put them on before picking up my weapon of choice from the display; a small manual saw with a few hundred teeth.
