He's Whipped

He's Whipped

I said, not to sound sarcastic, because he's blind, and I didn't want to hurt his feelings. He chuckled and walked closer to where we are,"You smelled like fresh flowers in the field, but one thing that distinguishes you from the others is the smell of honey caramel. Most she-wolves would spray floral perfume just to smell like one, but yours is a natural scent. I may be blind, but my sense of smell is my weapon." I laughed a bit,"Floral perfume does smell nice." "Not at all, it doesn't suit most she-wolves especially when their sweats are mixed up," Devin laughed.

good. "Well, come on then, lead the way," She urged when she noticed that he wasn't moving a single muscle, even going as far as walking behind his back and starting to push against it -well, more like trying to- whilst grumbling under her breath, "Now I understand why they call you guys BloodHounds. You can freaking smell everything, even the damned water," He blew out a small puff of air through his nostrils and started walking, however careful not to make her stumble forward as he took the first step ever so slowly, waiting for her to step by his side and walk at the same pace.

The Hellhound Alpha's Tribrid.

The Hellhound Alpha's Tribrid.

I could barely get any scent as everything was tainted with smoke and the smell of burning flesh . Even if I could somehow find and track the scent…it would take too long. Damien is faster and I could never confuse his scent with anything, I practically live with the man, no seriously I live with him ….we all live together. Where the efficiency comes in is the dog whistle. It is barely audible to humans but to a werewolf with supernatural hearing…it's a pretty distinct loud hissing that I can hear from miles away. Damien finds something, I hear the hissing, track his scent and the sound . Smart I know…hunting is kind of our full time job and we are damn good at it.

The Vampire's Second Chance

The Vampire's Second Chance

"How did you know?" "Werewolves have great noses, for other things," she sat on the bed, putting her arm around me. "Vampires may smell the blood, but we can smell genetic defects. Ever heard of dogs finding cancer in their masters? Or even dogs knowing about a seizure that is about to happen in their humans? Werewolves are the same. I knew something was different about your blood. Something missing. I just put the pieces together."

Kelly Remington
I’ve read every story in her series and I’m really confused about the name changes in this book - kingdom names have been changed, most of the characters names have been changed… I’m concerned this one might have been plagiarized from her? I love her books, not understanding the name changes.

I really enjoyed this one! I don't re-read books but I do believe I'll be saving this one to come back too!! Such a great story with twists and great character relationships, lots of different POV's!! Definitely my favorite!! I love the emotions you feel from this one :)

Never too late

Never too late

I take a sniff of the air around me, trying to locate the source of unease in my mate’s stance. I step forward into their view, my eyes strained in the same direction as my mate’s, trying to ward off any stupid rogue wolves who think that they’re an easy target. Lea doesn’t seem surprised to see me, she shifts a little to her side, giving me a better position between her and the potential danger. I take another deep sniff and feel the presence of a rogue wolf fifty meters away from where we all stand. I’m impressed Lea was able to sense the presence of the rogue because from what I know, humans have a below-average sense of smell and for her to be able to distinguish a rogue’s smell from thi

Sorry My Alpha Mom, I Was Born Broken

Sorry My Alpha Mom, I Was Born Broken

On the floor were the shattered remains of two expensive vials. Blue liquid smoked on the tiles. It was a wolf-gene enhancement serum that had taken her three months to synthesize. "What is that smell?" she gasped, her face pale as she clutched her nose. "Where is it coming from?" The rot had invaded her sanctuary. Her precious laboratory. Her own wolf spirit began to stir restlessly. A werewolf's sense of smell is ten times stronger than a human's. To her, the smell of a dead body was a form of direct torture.

Luna's Shadow

Luna's Shadow

006 "Her scent?" Kenziel echoed, his brow furrowing in confusion. "I hadn't noticed anything different about her scent. Why? What are you suggesting?" The question was one that hung in the air, a hint of concern and suspicion lacing Herzl's words. Was there something amiss with Rebecca, beyond the wound she suffered? Or was Herzl’s sense of smell playing tricks on him? True, Herzl's sense of smelling is more sharpened and heightened than a normal werewolf, and he can perceive things from hundreds of miles — funny enough, he can also differentiate scents.

His Luna Returned—So I Left With His Baby”

His Luna Returned—So I Left With His Baby”

The digital destination boards were dark. Not empty, though. In the shadows, another scent moved. Sharp. Predatory. Not wolf. Hound. A lean shape padded out from behind a pillar—sleek, black‑furred, eyes gleaming red under the emergency lights. A Tribunal tracking hound—bio‑engineered, nose keyed to Lunaris and other “anomalous” signatures. It snarled softly, hackles rising as it scented them. Its handler, somewhere in the dark, hissed, “Steady—” but the leash was loose enough to let it lunge if it chose.

Rise of a Queen - Book 2

Rise of a Queen - Book 2

I can’t say honestly that I would treat bear shifters outside our pack with the same approach though. We were able to pick up Petra’s scent easily and followed it for a few hours across barren plains. A bear's sense of smell was a hundred times stronger than that of a wolf and they made for good trackers. Even the faintest of scent they could pick up. Today I was happy that I had a few bear shifters in our pack. It made picking up the little girls' scent that much easier.

JWGStout has done it again! I loved the story and character development. The story really is a roller coaster, and I’m so happy for Lamia! But there are so many questions at the end, and so many opportunities for the other leading characters. I can’t wait to get into the next 3 books!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

A Scorned Luna's Revenge

A Scorned Luna's Revenge

“Doesn’t she seem a bit – off?” I zoned out of the whispers exploding around my father’s office. Wolves had great senses. Some could smell things hundreds of metres away while others had enviable night visions. Wolves from older families like mine had better senses than others and the Adelards, in particular, have been known to have keen ears.
