The smell of blood is pungent; despite her efforts, she can't ignore it. As an Alpha, her sense of smell is far sharper than that of ordinary wolves. Sabrina had lived in the pack house all her life. It wasn’t uncommon for wolves to return from a hunt smelling of death and blood, but this scent was far more unsettling.
